Somebody help me out here!!! When is Disneyland.com going to fix their gosh-darn payment page for vacation packages??? It's been numerous complaints, and weeks, if not months, that nothing has changed! Anyone else having trouble paying for their Disney trip on the Disneyland.com website??? I'd think it's kinda be priority to get it handled considering summer is coming and who only knows how many people are trying to plan or pay for their vacation packages and has to call! I gotta pay for 3 different packages and the convenience of online payment can't compare to the tediousness of over the phone payments, repeating myself is a pet peeve of mine.... Anyone else having trouble or know anything about it???

Enough people are apparently still finding other ways to pay that they outsourced a bunch of their IT positions.

Don't hold your breath on the website changing any time soon.

Aargh! It's so annoying though
:( I gotta pull out all of my family's information to repeatedly give to the cast members so I can make payments for three separate packages And because nothing will probably be fixed any time soon, I gotta do this numerous times over the next 3-4months because I can't pay it all at once for gosh sakes! Sigh. I'm just frustrated and hoped someone may know what's going on. I guess I should start organizing things a little better to make the phone calls less tedious, if possible

It was like that in 2014, too, so nothings being fixed in a hurry!

U gotta be kidding me?! What's the hold up, I wonder? I like booking with Disney.com but I dunno if I will if I can't pay online... Seriously. It'd take me probably 5minutes to do all three of my reservation payments online and over the phone it took my at least 30minutes, to make partials for the 3pckgs I have, a week or so ago... Oi.

Actually, all of those articles never said they were IT positions and they weren't *outsourced*. You don't get that kind of Visa for an outsourced position. DH works with many people with those Visas, and they are *expensive*. They aren't a cheap way of doing business at all. They are for highly skilled people that you're willing to pay a ton of money (including moving them to the US) for.

And again, the articles never said IT. (and the articles were just so biased and not-filled-with-facts and so obviously with a political agenda it wasn't even funny)

I seem to remember that if i was signed in to my Disney account, it wouldn't let me pay, but if I wasn't signed in, and just requested to pay using the reservation number, then it worked, so you may try that.

But I wholeheartedly agree, for as big a company as Disney is, there are key aspects of their website that really suck.

I can appreciate your frustration - we have gotten so used to doing so much online - now when you have to call someone it's straight up crazy really. I am like that so much now, I hate to have to pick up the phone but often when I do, there is someone so friendly on the other end trying to help. It does take a lot longer that is for sure though. We had to cancel a reservation and I found it odd that it would not allow you to do so, so we had to call Disney and they said they were having issues with their site and they had no idea when it would be fixed.

Yeah, it's just so odd that this issue isn't a timely priority for the website! I loved the cast member that helped me out with ALL of the reservations I had and needed to make payments for, but I could tell even she was getting a little annoyed with the whole process of repeatedly going through everything over and over again She was very nice and helpful though. It all just was a lot longer than I would've liked it to be. I'll try not logging in and seeing if it works that way. I'm glad, well not glad, but relieved I'm not the only one having the same problems....

THIS! Oh my goodness! I like to payoff in chunks with Disney gift cards. I usually get them on payday from Target with my RedCard and then pay that way. It takes so much time to have to call instead of quick online and done! They are very friendly, but I really don't need to listen to my reservation confirmed with every detail once every other week. I know that they are probably required to do this but still, it would be nice if you could quick call and pay and go and not have to listen to all the details every single call, especially if that is your only option to pay...

Right?! And after the 100th time speaking to member Bout the issue he informed me that once you pay over the phone you can only pay over the phone! I thought, well how is that justified, especially when it isn't my fault the website's payment option is down?! So I guess this time around in stuck with phone calls for payments:( But it also makes me think twice about using their site to book a vacation in the future. I mean, phone calls are fine if you have time and have one vacation to pay for, but it's a little overwhelming when there is numerous bookings to be paid... I do wish they'd make some efforts or give an explanation or other option for those stuck in the same predicament. It's the same answer, "We thank you for your comments and we will be sure to contact you with more information" or something of the sort, and then the actual reply email is "we are sorry for the inconvenience and we have notified the proper department for further investigation" or whatever. I haven't seen or heard any progress yet, and like someone else said, it's been messing up since 2014! So I won't hold my breath. It's just a shame....

Funny, because I was told I couldn't make payments online anymore because I had added a meal voucher. They said anytime you make any change you loose the ability to pay online. Either way it's very aggravating! Good grief! And I know what you mean about thinking twice, my husband is so frustrated with them he's about ready to cancel the trip. They have "lost" our ressies 4 times now when we call in and it has to get escalated :sad2:

:badpc::badpc::badpc: It's not gonna happen. Their IT is legendarily bad, from websites to magic bands and beyond. Outsourced or not. The best way to cope is get yourself a system, store all the info you need in a file or something so you can at least make it a little more efficient on your end each time you have to call in.

Yeah, that's what it basically comes down to, more work for me, right?! So annoying. I've been gathering all the info I need to make it least tedious when my next payments come around.

It's insane! Why would it make a difference if you added anything to the res and then need to pay differently? It makes no sense!! I'm gathering everything I need to give to the cast members for all the res's I need to make payments for so it'll lessen the amount of time I'll have to be on the phone next time. It just doesn't get easier for anyone, does it?! I bet if they start to see a drop in the amount of people booking through the website for vacations because of the inconveniences and issues that haven't been fixed for ever, maybe that'll light a fire under them to get it all fixed finally! Who knows.... May not make a difference at all. So aggravating

How do you pay with Disney gift cards for a vacation? Is there an easier way if you have a Red target card? I see a lot of people using their target cards and gift cards but isn't there a limit on how many times you can use a gift card?

People use their Target Redcards to purchase the gift cards, saving 5%. I don't think using the gift cards for payment for their packages is affected at all by the Red card.

Update: I HAVE DONE IT!!!!! I have figure it out, I have made a payment online FINALLY!!!! I realized all my devices are Apple products and no matter what search engine I tried, nothing worked. I knew I couldn't use Internet Explorer, and lo and behold, Disney website uses old school computer programs that use Internet explorer. All I had to do was find a way to download Internet explorer on my desktop. Easier said than done. Luckily I found some site that showed me how to download the program on a Mac, though it was a little time consuming, I did it and this morning I have finally beat the system! My payment went through and it was super fast and easy! I know, I could've easily called and made my payments, but I have numerous reservations, you see, and each one is very tedious and time consuming over the phone. So, Hah! I'm super proud of myself and for anyone else that is having the same issues, if you don't mind the extra elbow grease, the key is having the latest Internet explorer program. Whoop whoop:dogdance:

Nice to have heard of a loophole!!! I try and pay with gift cards from Sams's ($142.98 for $150.00 worth) so you are saving a little money. What a pain it is to have to call and give gift card info over the phone!!! Thank you for your update!!!
