Hello,

I'm going to Disneyland in april. I'm Canadian, our dollar is very low right now. I'm considering one day at universal, I went years and years ago, the same year indy opened at Disneyland. I didn't enjoy it. I found it hot, crowded, insane lines (3 hours for Jurrasic Park) and with very little in the way of attractions and no theming to make it up.

I'm considering going again though because of Harry Potter. It'll end up costing about 170 dollars for each of us (there are two of us), because of the Canadian dollar.

So, obviously no ones know how good the HP land will be, but have things changed at all in the last couple decades there? I see they STILL have the same water world attraction going, did anything replace the backlot tour or is still going?

Thank you very much.

The HP land will be almost the same as the Hogsmeade in Florida without the Dragon Challenge coaster. The Forbidden Journey ride will be in 3D. (Note: USH has a disproportionately large number of 3D simulator rides given its short attractions roster.)

USH will have neither the new Diagon Alley land nor the Hogsmeade Express found in Florida.

I understand that they've discontinued the Jimmy Fallon videos on the Backlot Tour.

Jimmy Fallon is still very much part of the Studio Tour. Its all up to the tour guide on how much Fallon is shown on the tour.

You are guaranteed to see him in the queue line video and the on-board safety video, everything else is up to your guide.
