Good to hear she is doing well. And glad to hear the taxes are going well. I wait till the end of March, local and school taxes are due in February here and at my age I can only take one sc;/&'g a month.
 


Forgot to wish everyone a Happy Fat Tuesday. Had a friend who lived in New Orleans and I spent a week there one Mardi Gras. Surprised it didn't kill me.

When B did the cp, we went down four times in Eight months to see her. 8 nights each.
This was the first time we went down. This was Father's Day.
I Learned a lot from her program and working at the MK, people are nuts. I have been 63 times since 1973 and I never knew the bs these people put up with.
I always felt bad to leave, she would cry when Tammy and I would go home.lol
I make it a point to talk to a cp kid when there's a chance. Ask them when they started, when they leave, I tell them dd did it and where she lived and worked.
A lot of the kids are far from home..... Many for the first time.....working in a huge place for a multi billion dollar company And could use a smiling face. Tell them there doing a good job. If you have a complaint, go to guest services, the kids in the park don't make the rules or the prices, they just try to follow them and do a good job.

She also took us in here !!! I tried not to act the tourist. Lol cool pictures in the hall, on the doors and took us into company D, the employee store. Again, I tried not to act the tourist.lol I think they built a new wing on this building with the profits of me going in that store. Lol
 
No pictures but she also took us into a store for employees that was located behind the mk where they sold all the stuff that didn't get sold in the parks, overstock,damaged etc... They also sold things like props etc.. Out of the parks and resorts. Again, I tried to not act the tourist but man, they had huge pieces of carpet that was taken out of attractions in the mk and Epcot. I could have had a 20x20 slab of carpet that was in the figment ride with the rides logo for $75. I wanted to tie it to the roof of the Benz but Tammy said she would leave me there and I could live with my carpet. They had a fully decorated Christmas tree for 120. It was 20 ft tall.lol
I bought China plates with the contemporary logo, pictures that hung on the wall in Okw, shirts, all kinds of statues. When she took us in, she was on her way to work so she was in costume, ear piece hanging off her collar, her and I went up to the register and the cashier asked if one of us was a cast member? " nope, always dress like this " lol
She was friends with the guy, I thought he was just nuts.
They have since taken the building down for more parking for the mk cat members and rebuilt another one.

Hard to see but while we were there, I was her taxi. Lol if you work in the mk, you take a bus unless you own the place. Lol Cms park in a massive lot just off to the right of the mk. They walk over to the building you see on the left and get on a bus to take you to the tunnel.
The first night she ask me to pick her up at 11 pm. Tammy went with me in her pjs and we parked in the lot close to the building. ( costuming is the building on the right )
My jaw was on the floor, this place never stops. 24 hours a day 365 days a year this place has people going in and out. We waited till 12:30 am and I got a text, " dad, I'm training and will be late, just fall asleep in the car and I'll wake you when I'm done". 2am she came out, laughing with another girl. They were training in a cart in the hub, the manager came out in a golf cart. They talked this manager into letting them take the cart up Main Street and back. There was nobody on Main Street. Lol He just told them act like your doing something. Lol
She also got to ride a bike up Main Street at 3:30 am one night. Almost fell off when the tire stuck into the rail tracks. Lol Got going again and the fireworks started going off for some reason and scared the crap out of her. Lol
She said she worked the night the decorated for Christmas, She said that was cool! People, lifts all over!
She got to see a lot while she was there.

I think Dave has insert more Disney into this thread in the past week than the entire thread before it! :rotfl2: Thanks for posting all those great pics, Dave! I'm not sure you love your daughter enough though... you need to take her back to WDW some more. :lmao:
