Didn't see one yet, hope I didn't miss it. It's never too early to start obsessively hunting for car rental prices.

Right now I found the best deals through Capital One rewards. After taxes, an economy is $98 and a full size is $118 for 9/4 - 9/10 (Dollar/Thrifty)
 
Yesterday, I booked a Standard car through Alamo (so it will be a full-size when I get there) for September 24 to October 1 for $114 ($160 after fees/taxes, etc).

Check carrentalsavers, Alamo seems about $25 cheaper for a weekly rental
 


Just booked minivan with Alamo for 14 days sept 4- sept 18 for $397.03 with all taxes. Is this a good deal? I used contract 7016220 (Visit Orlando Website) and AD2338FDF Visa

Is the the car agency where you can skip the line and go Right to cars?

Also got dollar for $383. I'd like to skip the counter and go to the car line though!
 
Booked Lock-Low and Go-- (compact car or larger) with Dollar for 17-23 September; total $105. I did not use any codes. This is a pre-pay in which the rental rate ($62) is due now with the remainder paid at the counter (hassle?). Full refund is available if canceled up to 48-hours before pick-up time.

Just two of us this trip so I don't care if we get the compact. I think a full-size car was available for $121 (pre-pay).
 
Found a deal with Thrifty. Wild Card deal (so will get a compact or higher) for a total (inc taxes) of $123. Needs to be prepaid- similar to the dollar deal above. Dates for this rental are 18-26th September :)

Where did you find that coupon code? Any clue if it is a restricted cpn or is it available for general use by anyone?

Pretty sure anybody can use it. Probably best to make sure you have an Alamo Insiders account just to be safe :)

Thanks for the coupon code! I just booked a Full Size Car with Alamo for Sept 19-30th with that coupon code and the Visit Orlando contract number for $209.53.

Thanks from me too!! I just booked for Sept 19th-30th for $180. This was for a standard--but I think I read somewhere that they don't have standards at MCO--so will get a Full size at this price. If not, that's ok. Good price no matter what.
 
Visit the April or May rental boards to read more about the $50 coupon. There are people returning and the coupon is not showing up on the confirmation. Most so far have gotten it honored after dealing with an agent. But it is an expired coupon from 2011 and somehow the website it taking it. Use at your own risk. I had it on my reservations, but have replaced it.

Okay, so I spent some time fiddling and was able to add by Costco contract number instead. So now it's only $197 and we get the additional driver for free. I didn't that would be a big deal but I just read that it could be $10-12/day extra for that additional driver! That would have been an extra $150. They really try to get you with the extras.
