The Daily Grind ~ 2/8/16

Morning!!

BRRRR!!!! Cold here this morning and supposed to continue heading lower.. According to the news we could see sn*w too. Forecast says less than 3" when it is finally done on Wednesday but still chances all week. However, the poor east coast is getting hit again...

PJ took her last test for obtaining her teaching license after graduation and passed!

Done quite a bit this morning so this is what is left to do; DH works from home today:

B up and movin'
dishes --- watched game and scrapped instead Broncos! Way to go Peyton!!
B to school
journaling
cut some journaling and get it matted
set up titles to cut out tonight (1 hour of titles after dinner)
clean house
make copies of PJ's resume to put into a scrapbook page (I am one page away from having her college book current as of Feb 1 again! -- C's book is caught up because boys do not take a lot of photos)
B - pick up from school
B - homework
B - online class

tired girls this morning, at least I can come back home and relax a bit.

today:
Megan up and at school by 6:45 for trip down to Seattle - all day rehearsals, clinics and competition for Catholic area high school choirs.
pick up our stuff we just dumped last night
run dishwasher
pack up project to work on between lunches at school
work at school lunches
meet up with Deacon and staff about Cherylann Gengel's visit ( she'll be in town March 2 - 7!!!) and we will be doing a fundraiser to support a BLB child for a year
relax a bit
get ready for tonight
p/u my mom at 5:00
concert at 7:00
find Megan after concert
drop mom off at home
home and crash for us!

We had a long weekend- A is getting angry very fast at everyone and is distressed that she cannot control everything. We are not sure what to do. I am trying to think of something she can really be in charge of so that she will feel better about that but the rest of us can live with. DH is really getting frustrated with her behavior especially towards me and her lack of listening. She put way too much soap in the washer last night becuase I was going to wash all the whites in the house and not just the 3 pieces of clothing she wanted washed. It was in the middle of the superbowl so I said we would have to wait on washing till the morning and that she would have to find other things to wear. This morning she asked if it was done and I told her no- someone had put in too much soap and I would have to work on it today. She was not very happy about that. Right now she has lost the use of the tablet and I am getting ready to implement all parental controls on the DS3 which means all she can do on it is play games and take photos. I am just not sure what else to do with her.

LAUNDRY
DH & DGS did good while I was gone but it's just not the same
Clean stove & fridge
Clean bathroom
Hopefully work with pictures from our trip
Supper- chili (I think?)
