hi here's my question - I just wondered what standard practice is

Booking a town car from Sanford airport to Wdw resort price is $115 one way or a return of $220

If u book the return when u get to your resort do u pay 1/2 of the cost plus tip ( and pay the other half after the last trip back to airport )
Or do u pay the full amount

You could have a different driver doing the return journey? Thanks

If you're booking in advance you usually pay the full amount upfront when you book. You could have a different driver on the return but this shouldn't matter.

It depends on the driver/company. I've had drivers that were fine with paying for each leg at the time. I've had others, usually company policy, that asked for the entire amount to be paid upon arrival at the resort. In that case, I don't tip for the second leg...just the first.
My last trip, WDW to HRH, and back again, the driver told me to pay the entire thing at the end of the second leg. He had to send a replacement driver, so I'm hoping he got the tip he deserved!!! He didn't want anything on that first leg!

We used a town car service and paid for each leg at the destination, even though we booked both in advance. So, MCO to Polynesian was paid when we arrived at the Poly and Polynesian to MCO was paid when we arrived at MCO. We did not prepay for anything. It was very easy and we would definitely do it again. (We had our MagicalExpress tags handy, though…just in case there was a glitch when we arrived at MCO; luckily there wasn't!).

I have always been asked to pay the entire trip on the first leg, I use a cc'd just in case there are any issues but after dozens of trips with a few different companies I haven't had any issues (knock wood!). I do tip per leg as a pp mentioned as the driver may not be the same on each leg.
