Hey guys...I have looked through multiple posts and threads. I can't seem to find the answer. Does the new BWV 1 bedroom have the 5th person drop down bunk? THanks in advance for your help:)

The BWV 1BRs have basically the same design as before with updated soft goods and a laminate floor in the living room/kitchen/foyer portion. There is no Murphy bed or sleeper chair. As before, you can have five but there is no bed for the fifth and you need supply your own in the form of a sleeping bag or inflatable. That also applies to the 1BRs at BCV, VWL, and SSR. VGF 1BRs have the Murphy bed that pulls down from desk unit that is below the TV, and BLT, OKW and AKV (other than value rooms) have the sleeper chair for a fifth.

All the BWV studios are getting that bed in the desk unit below the TV. That has been done at VWL and will be done next year at BCV. VGF and Poly studios also have that feature, but AKV, SSR, OKW, and BLT studios do not have it.

All 1 BR units will allow you to have 5 guests but only AKV, BLT and OKW (at WDW) have the sleeper chair for 5th guest. You can bring airbed for 5th guest to other resorts.

Akl.....jambo and kidani ?

The Jambo and Kidani savanna and standard view 1BRs, and Jambo's club level 1BRs, have the sleeper chair for the fifth person. The smaller "value" 1BRs in Jambo have no sleeper chair or murphy bed and are limited to four occupants.

And VGF has the murphy bed in the living room of the 1 and 2BR's. So AKV Jambo (except value category), AKV Kidani, BLT, OKW and VGF all have bedding provided for a 5th occupant in the 1BR's. For non-WDW resorts VGC and Aulani have the murphy beds and VB and HHI have had sleeper chairs added.

In the DVC description of a 1 bedroom; I am having trouble understanding the meaning of ----"5th guest can be accommodated, but please note that no additional bedding, linens or towels will be provided. Sleeps Up to 5".

Is it possible that there are cots that can be reserved to "accommodate" a toddler that is too big to sleep in a porta crib?
It is hard to believe that a standard room has a Murphy bed and the 1 bedroom does not.

I suppose a twin inflatable mattress with bedding is the best answer. (as already suggested in previous posts)

It means you can book 5 people but there are only beds for 4 accommodating the 5th is up to you. No rollaways no cribs so bring an air mattress or book a bigger room. The 1 bedrooms do not have space for the drop down murphy in the lounge it is too small.

You'll need to bring a towel for the fifth person, too. You'll have four bath towels. Or you can purchase an extra towel pack for $6. That would be four bath towels, two hand towels, four face cloths and one extra tub mat.
