AAA Discount Question

I've been reading a couple of conflicting things on here about the AAA Discount. I purchased my ticket through AAA but didnt recieve a discount card that another poster had mentioned. Can someone confirm if I can get the discount with just showing my ticket that says AAA on it and my member card or can I just show my member card? Thanks

Don't remember if a package needs to be bought thru AAA for that discount card

I have AAA when living in Illinois
Recently moved to Ga and when I call, directed to the Illinois office not the S Ga office

I'll check the website/UO and see if anything is listed there

When we were there in June 2015, we were not able to use our AAA discount b/c we got our tix through UT. They asked to see the AAA discount card that we were supposed to get if we bought through AAA. We just used our AmEx discount instead - it was the same discount and easier to use. Technically, we were supposed to show the offer or the AmEx app every time we used it, but 3B was the only place that asked for it. We did use the AAA discount one time, when the cc readers were down during the lunch rush at Simpsons and we had to pay cash. They were so flustered that they just took our AAA card and did not ask for the special discount card.

I purchased tickets from my AAA office for our upcoming trip in March. I did get a full sheet of paper that I need to show along with my AAA card to receive the discount. I would contact AAA to get the proof you will probably be required to show for the discount.

Strangely not all the AAA offices know that they are supposed to be giving you that 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper that is your proof of purchase that you bought your tickets from them. In years past all you had to do was show your AAA card for discount.

Also a side note. When you purchase your tickets from AAA you get paper tickets. These can be converted to small card tickets to fit in you lanyards at guest services outside the park entrance. This will help you not have to pull those large paper tickets out all the time. Put your small card tickets in your lanyard to be scanned.

I bought three day park tickets for family from Indiana and got a 4 th day free. It was cheaper from AAA then purchasing 4 day tickets Universal. There are deals to be had if you are vigilant.

You still receive your AAA discount (10%) on food purchases on CityWalk and at resturants in the park.

They are no longer giving discounts with AAA in either Potter parks. That's not a big deal because you can get a lot of the most popular Potter items at the big Universal stores in City walk and both parks using your AAA discount. I had the grandchildren look over all their gift options and I purchased them all at once with AAA discount and received about 20 % on total. If I am not mistaken you had to spend at least $50.00 dollars to get 10% off and as you spent more the percentage off increased.

Discounts are given If you are a annual pass holder also.

Hopes this helps. Have a great trippixiedust:
