Official 2016 5th Anniversary Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend!

Thanks!

I wonder why there is a space for it on the Registration form.
I'm pretty sure this is the last race weekend that will have a link like that. Going forward it seems like we'll need to log in to Active.com to change times (good news, as that means submissions are password-protected).

Anyone know what to do if your name doesn't show up via the trackshack link? I technically just registered today because I am going through a group. The link says it only is updated up until 1/24/2016 which I don't think is fair.

Hey folks, I know we're about 90 days out... and I have been thinking about running outfits.

I get it's "Tinkerbell" and all things "fairies" -- but from you have all seen in the past.... is it cool to wear other things? Tink and fairies aren't really my thing, so I was thinking about maybe wearing something princess or similar. Big thing is that I want to be comfortable, happy, and confident. I just don't want to break any unspoken rules about outfits.

The thought of running with wings makes me cringe. Having to dodge them will be tough enough!

People dress up as all different characters...if it's Disney you will fit in!!

That's good -- we've done other races, not Tink. I'd like to invest in one outfit and get multiple uses and good ROI before it gets retired :)

Kind of random. Looking to get rD tickets for the week I'll be at DLR surrounding the race. Is there not a web page that we can go to for buying these? Seems kind of 1989 to still have to call a place for this- esp since apparently the DL people aren't in on Saturdays.:rolleyes2 Am I missing it somewhere? I see where we can book rooms, but no tickets? :magnify:

I see you can add tickets after you get your hotel but they seem to be the same price as if you went to the regular DL website and bought tickets.

Awesome. Now it's just deciding which character to be. So many options -- Belle, Ursula, Anna... and of course my other favorite, Baymax! :)

You'll fit right in. I mean for avengers there were people dressed up as wonder woman, superman and batman. Those would be more out of place than what you're planning, especially since those are not marvel characters and disney doesn't even own the rights to those characters.

Just got a return phone call from run Disney in Anaheim. No discounted tickets for Disneyland half, Tinker Bell, or Avengers. I did ask if Costco in California typically had tickets, as I have once in while seen them at the Costco in Florida, but she felt like she hadn't seen them in a while.

And I do believe another price increase is on its way. Because the cast member kind of hinted that if I was looking to buy tickets she said don't wait until May, to buy them sooner rather than later were her words.

Just an FYI for anyone else who is starting to put together the finishing touches on there travel plans for Tink.

I got mine through Way.com - 5-day ParkHopper for $285. I usually buy all my Disneyland tickets through Way.com and have had a pleasant experience with them. Though, I think I'm going to combine my Florida Platinum AP and this park-hopper towards a Premier Pass for both coasts.

Question: Has anyone used the online booking feature to book rooms through runDisney? Has it worked out okay?
