What kind of view is this....

Hey guys so I booked a poolside garden view? I suppose the title of it is self explanatory but... Any one had this view before? I have no idea how Aulani is set up....please excuse my ignorance. Is this a nice spot or good view? We enjoy having a balcony and looking out but not sure if that is what I got or not. Where would this be in the scope of the resort? Sorry I am a newbie to Aulani so any resort help is appreciated. Thanks!

We had this view last year. I believe we were on the 4th or 5th floor. Our balcony overlooked a portion of the lazy river and we could see the steps to the water slides (which was great! We were able to say "kids! The lines for the slides are short right now. Let's go ride!"). There were trees between us and the pools, so I suppose it's possible you could end up with a view of mostly palm fronds at eye level, depending on what floor you are on.

We enjoyed this view and would book it again. It was nice to sit on the balcony and listen to the music from the O'lelo Room in the evenings. You won't likely have a view of anything in the distance, though. You'll be looking at landscaping and pools, not ocean or mountains in the distance.

I am not sure if this classifies as pool/garden view but the bottom floor rooms that fed right out into the pool area seemed so un-private. I mean, you could see right into them and the walkways can get busy. I wouldnt want people walking past my balcony all day long, especially if I wanted to sit and relax. I guess it might be good if you had older kids so they could come and go easily but still, very little privacy. I would request the highest floor possible but again, I am not sure if this is the right category, maybe someone else can verify...

hello! just some advice about the poolside garden view...some of guests that book poolside garden view request ground floor due to the easy access to the pools but I agree with one of the previous posters on here that your balcony is there for everyone to see...there is a little partition but it's not that private. As far as the view from some rooms, you may see some palm trees and you may just see different parts of the pool. it definitely depends on where exactly your room location is. If you like to sit on your balcony and look out, I would recommend an Oceanview but if you don't think you're going to be in your room a lot then I would definitely save on the view. Being that it's your first visit to Aulani, you may just wanna splurge on Oceanview but it's totally up to you. There are those that absolutely love the Poolside Garden View and some that have a different idea of the view in mind. Hope this helps!
