Hello! Can you please provide your stateroom number? Thanks
I agree! I would love a private document!Hi Graciemon!
Thank you for putting together the list. It looks great! Love the extra column about special stuff for the participants
This was on my todo this weekend as well . Wondering if we could do a private document, maybe on google docs, so we can share without it going on the internet public. I would be happy to set this up!!
Also wanted thoughts from the group on how many rooms we want to add to the list. Thinking 15 or maybe 20? We can follow the confirmation process suggested by PrincessShmoo. Then start the pixie dust list.
Unfortunately, that site is on the "do no post links to...." list. Now, the actual list could be maintained (by the organizer) there, but then it would need to be converted to a picture to post into a conversation, or on the main Cruise Meet thread for your cruise.maybe on google docs,

The only option here is using the private conversations feature. That way, only those participating in the group can see the information. Beyond that, e-mails. But, I'm not sure how you would get everyone's email addresses to all people participating without actually posting there (either on the cruise meet thread or in a conversation). Thanks PrincessShmoo! Do you allow any other secure means of communicating the information? Personally, I wouldn't participate in something that requires my personal information being posted in a public forum online. I thought using a password protected document that requires nothing except a web browser would follow the Disboards policy regarding no facebook yet maintain security for it's users.

To start a conversation, you click on the person's avatar or username you with to have the private discussion with. In the next window click on "Start a conversation". Then you can title it, select those users you want to be able to participate (can be up to 20 participants). Write your message, then at the bottom of the message window, you can click on "Allow anyone in the conversation to invite others" or "Lock conversation". If you don't select the first option, only you can add additional people (up to the 20 max). To invite more people, scroll down to the bottom of the page, at the lower right is "Conversation particpants". And a "Invite more" link. Thanks for the update.
All - does anyone have a way to post information where it is not publicly available on the Internet? I read the policy linked and it seems it was instituted for non-solicitation and safety. I'm not familiar with the private message or conversation feature here. I don't know if that is "google-able" or not.
Disappointed. This really was part of the fun leading up to the cruise and why I used DU to book.
