We are AP holders for the first time (since Nov. 2015) and would like to get another trip out of them in August. We stayed at CBBR in November and enjoyed it, but would like to try a different hotel. We are a family of 5, 3 boys ages 15, 9, 7.
Here is what I have found:
SF - August 14 -18
$147.20 per night
Total for the 4 nights with tax would be $662.40
that also includes a $150 dining credit. So it gets me to basically $512.40.
RPR - August 14-18
$203.20 per night
Total for the 4 nights with tax would be $914.40
but could possibly get a better price with my AP discounts when those are available.
I'm really tempted to try SF, but would like to have the FOTL.
Which direction would you lean and why. We haven't been to US in years until recently and could use some expert advice.
Here is the new information with BA.com pricing
SF - August 14 -18
$103.75 per night
Total for the 4 nights with tax would be $415
and includes a $150 dining credit. So it gets me to basically $265 or $66.25/night
RPR - August 14-18
$176 per night
Total for the 4 nights with tax would be $704
but could possibly get a better price with my AP discounts when those are available.
