Im going to WDW this August (8/5-8/11)
We have our ADR's date this 2/8, so this monday.
We're planning to have these reservations:

Friday 8/5
2:00 pm Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dining Package

Saturday 8/6
10:30 am Crystal Palace
7:00 pm Be our Guest

Sunday 8/7
8:00 am Chef’s Mickey
8:15 pm Disney Spirit of Aloha

Monday 8/8
8:00 am Kona Cafe

Wednesday 8/10
2 pm Kona Cafe
7:00 pm Liberty Tree Tavern

Thursday 8/11
9:30 am 'Ohana

Will I have any trouble with these reservations? Any tips to get the ADR's I want?

The only one you may have any issues with 180 days out is Be Our Guest. Book that one first. Even then, you may have to be flexible with times.

I made my ADR's this morning for 8/3-7...i had no issues getting Crystal palace 8 am breakfast, or BOG dinner, and everything else i wanted at the times i wanted
..i wanted to make sure i had BOG for my birthday dinner
:) i was on the phone at 6:58 am though..lol

I've always been under the impression that 'Ohana and Chef Mickey are hard to get. But that may have changed?

You might have to be flexible on some times, but should generally be ok.

They are..but not usually right at 180 days, unless someone is looking for a very specific time. Even then, you can usually grab those at 180 days, unless it's Christmas or something.

Be Our Guest may be a bit hard. There's a possibility that that date may not be available but one of the others during your trip is. I'd recommend flexibility if that is a restaurant you really want to hit. Kona will be the easiest to get. You also didn't say how many people and that could have an impact on availability. Good luck.

Am working on my stuff for July still.

Thank you all. Most of the ADR's wil be for 4 people, and others like Chef Mickey, BoG, crystal palace and Tusker house (forgot to put it on the list) we will be 6. Im assuming it wont be too hard to get?
I guess from what you all say we should start the reservations with BoG, then Chef Mickey and 'Ohana? We will be staying at the Poly and out 'Ohana day we wont need to rush it because thats the day we leave around 12-1pm so we're pretty flexible with the times.

Im going to WDW this August (8/5-8/11)
We have our ADR's date this 2/8, so this monday.
We're planning to have these reservations:

Double check with PS Calculator. Your 180-day window opens on the 7th:

You can make your 180 Day Advanced Reservations on 02/07/2016
You can make your 105 Day Advanced Reservations on 04/22/2016
You can make your 90 Day Advanced Reservations on 05/07/2016
You can make your 75 Day Advanced Reservations on 05/22/2016
You can make your 60 Day Advanced Reservations on 06/06/2016
You can make your 45 Day Advanced Reservations on 06/21/2016
You can make your 30 Day Advanced Reservations on 07/06/2016

Congrats! You get to get up at 6am on a Sunday.

you won't have problems with 'Ohana breakfast, it's the dinner everybody wants.

Definitely Be Our Guest first, then Chef Mickey's.

I would book BOG first, followed by Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, O'hana, Spirit of Aloha, Mama Melrose, Liberty Tree, Kona.

I would be flexible with scheduling BOG and Chef Mickey's (see notes below) as the further into your trip you plan for these, the better chance you'll have of getting them. Remember, people checking in days before you are getting first dibs on all of these!

Friday 8/5
2:00 pm Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dining Package

Saturday 8/6
10:30 am Crystal Palace
7:00 pm Be our Guest (
I would be prepared to switch BOG and Liberty Tree - the further out you push BOG, the better chance you will have of getting it)

Sunday 8/7
8:00 am Chef’s Mickey (I would be prepared to be flexible with your CM, Kona and O'hana breakfasts depending on what morning CM is available. Again, the further into your trip you plan CM, the more chance you will have of getting it)
8:15 pm Disney Spirit of Aloha

Monday 8/8
8:00 am Kona Cafe

Wednesday 8/10
2 pm Kona Cafe
7:00 pm Liberty Tree Tavern *see note above

Thursday 8/11
9:30 am 'Ohana

We always go in summer, and I've always gotten every ADR at about the time I wanted, including O'hana dinner. Have never tried for BOG.

We're going in July and I was able to get everything I wanted (including BOG and multiple pre-park breakfasts). I've even changed some of the times around since making ADRs with no issues.

I just booked our ADRs yesterday for our first week of August trip. I was up at 6 to book them online and I got all of the restaurants and times that I wanted - no problems.

I've gone every Aug the last five years and haven't had trouble getting ADR's for the times or days we wanted them. The only one we haven't done yet is BOG for dinner. We got lunch at 10:45 am last year.. They go quickly. I got up at 6 am to book all of ours last year. Fingers crossed for getting dinner this year at BOG. Good luck w/ yours!

Getting summer ADRs is significantly easier than getting fall ADRs from my experience! Good luck and enjoy.

Just finished all of our ADR's this morning (we arrive the day before you). It all went smoothly. The booking window opened at 6:00:01am as promised and the system allowed me to make reservations for my entire stay. Only two small issues:

1. Watch your dates. I accidentally booked one ressie for February and had to call to cancel it.
2. Payment for Cinderellas table and the Wishes dessert buffet are due at booking. So that's a hit to the card I was not expecting yet.
3. I had a moment of panic when I missed the little "Agree to our terms" checkbox at the bottom of the final booking screen, the site complains that you have to check it, highlights it in red but then refused to let me check it. So watch out for that.

I had no problems booking my ADR's for my trip 7/4-7/14. What I did was book them as soon as I could (6:00am on the first day I could). Use the MDE app and you can book as early as 6:00am, whereas if you call you need to wait until 7:00am. If you're staying at a Disney resort you can book your whole trip's ADRs at the 180 day mark of check in, which will help. I booked a few of the same restaurants as you did and the only "problem" I had was I had to book Crystal palace at 8:10am instead of 8:00 or 8:05. Just be diligent and you'll be fine.

OMG thank you thank you thank you!!! We thought mine was 2/8 and we were gonna end up booking it a day after!! Now thanks to you I know its tomorrow!

Oh wow! Hopefully we can get BoG then. We don't mind the time for dinner, we will be flexible. Unless its during wishes time tho. We wouldn't book it more than 8:30 pm so we can be in Main Street for Wishes by 9:45.

Thanks for the advice! I will make sure to check the agree to our terms. And yeah we will have to pay for Spirit of Aloha too. Do you know if characters breakfasts will need to be pre-paid too?

nice! what resort are you going too? Ahh ill be okay then :) Did you booked for BoG? We won't do any pre-park reservations so we wouldn't have any problem I guess. Fingers crossed!

I booked my August 1-7 on Wed Feb 3 at 6am with no problem, got my reservations and times I wanted. I wanted CRT and BOG so I booked them first.

If you are on the Dining Plan, check off which plan (under the search button). Since I am on the Dining Plan, I did not have to pay up front for CRT.

Always re check the dates when you do another booking. A few times when I went back it showed Feb and I booked by mistake and had to cancel.
