Need imput for our best friends who plan to travel to disney with us--BEST Hotel for family of 5.
Off site-Good neighbor. Willing to take ART. Cleanliness, bedding important. Breakfast needs to be good (but doesn't) have to be free.

Our family will be staying at Double Tree Suites on points...but since they don't have points...
Looking into alternatives/best choices for our friends in case they choose to stay elsewhere. Biggest factor for them...FAMILY OF 5 (3 kids). Imput appreciated! **Doesn't have to be in Hilton Chain Hotel--just your favorite**

IDK the answer, but I am staying at the brand new Homewood Suites (note there are 2 locations) and it is next door to the Toy Story parking lot (walk is .3 of a mile to the shuttle). You could Uber on your MM. Free breakfast, free evening hor'derves during the week, and hopefully not disgusting yet since it's brand news. We have a king family room booked which is 1 king bed, bunk beds, and then a separate room with kitchen pull out couch, etc.

I also looked at the new Courtyard and they have a room with 2 queens and a bunkbed too. Might be a better option for you but it is a 1/2 mile walk. No free breakfast, but could grab on your walk in.

If you are travelling together then wouldn't it make sense to stay at the same place and travel together - if you are staying at the Double Tree Suites then would they really stay across the street from Disney or take the ART with you guys. Just wondering in what area you are looking for.

We stay at the Kids Suites at the HOJO which is an easy walk - 2 rooms: one king bed for parents, bunks and pull out bed for the kids, two bathrooms, two tvs, two closets etc. But if you guys are going to be the other end of Harbour would that work? I'd say they stay in the same place their travellign companions are staying so you can all enjoy the vacation together!!

They may choose (in the end) to stay where we do, however I don't want them to feel like they have to, if another hotel works better for them. We definitely will be using hilton honors points for our families stay. However, our friends don't have points to use, so looking into possible hotels that they could consider that are great for family of 5. Leave it up to our friends. We will definitely spend all our time together at parks regardless if they stay in same hotel. :flower1:

I like the best western park place inn for a quick walk to the park. One kid would be on a couch pull out.

We have stayed at Doubletree and the New Homewood suites and loved both of them. I would suggest the Homewood suites it is actually walking distance to the Doubletree.

Isn't Homewood Suites also a Hilton property? Could you use your points there? They definitely have rooms big enough to accommodate your friend's family and so far I've seen very reasonable rates for what they are offering. Make sure you look at the Convention Center one, it's brand new!

Yes new Homewood is an option for us, alson Hilton property and may consider depending on what our friends choose. Hoping to get insite to preferences for Our Friends / favorite hotels for families of 5. Doesnt have to be in Hilton chain.

We have stayed at Embassy Suites Anaheim South. We have 2 adults 3 teens. We always book a suite with 2 double/queen beds and a pull out couch. These rooms also come with a kitchen. Embassy Suites also has a free buffet breakfast which is amazing. Made to order omeletes, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, Milk, or coca cola drinks etc. This is also a hilton honors hotel. They have ART near by or a hotel designated shuttle for a small cost. We have also stayed at Hampton inn & suites which has a free breakfast just not as fancy as ES & free shuttle. There are a lot of hilton honor hotels with suites with free breakfast. If they are not booking with points may I suggest booking through getawaytoday.com they have 3rd & 4th night free deals and some hotels with free parking and free resort fees as well. I also like hilton honors hotels.

Our family of 6 just came back from the courtyard marriott anaheim theme park entrance. New, clean, close, Waterpark, double sinks, two showers. No free breakfast but next to panera bread and mcDs.
