Any WDW goers in January '16?

I've read a couple of posts for people going down to WDW in January. This is just a thread for anyone who wants to post their vacation plans for January '16.

I'm scheduled to go January 10-16 (hopefully just missing the MLK weekend crowds). I've heard Splash Mtn will be closed for refurbishments

but such is the risk of going during the low season.

Maybe if enough people go around the same time, we can arrange some get-togethers during a free morning/afternoon/evening.

Going solo jan 19-23. I have a ohana ressie on tues the 19 the for dinner is anyone wants to join me. It's for 2 people. The only way I could book it.

I will be there from January 29th to Feb 3rd or 4th...this will be my first time solo and really looking forward to it!

We just came home from a wonderful week for Food & Wine and MNSSHP.
Now my DH found out his service meeting for work will be held at the Hilton near Disney Springs in January.

Plans are not confirmed as of yet, but my DH will be at his service meeting from Jan 6 to the 10 and i might join him. That means i'll be going solo for the first time while he's at his meetings :scared:

Then we might continue our stay at POFQ till the 13th.

I'm a little apprehensive going alone. What advice can you give a newbie. :rose:

Jan is great - no crowds (except during Holidays) and the weather is great. so mostly short line for the attractions and events.

DH and I will be there Jan 20-27 @ CBR. We're excited especially since we've never been there in January. Looking forward to low crowds, cool weather and sunshine!

My friend and I will be there January 14-19! Looking forward to a girls only long weekend!!! Have never been there in January, but coming from Colorado, so whatever the weather there is, should be better than here

I'm an annual passholder always looking for reasons to go to the parks! I'm a single guy, 29, so it's typical for me to go solo. Let me know if you'd like to arrange a get-together one day!
