Who Wants To Try a DIS-Meet At Gulf State Park In May-June 2016?

Quick question does anyone think my 32 foot Fifth Wheel will fit okay in a full hook up site at the Fort ??? We typically don't hang out at the camper unless were sleeping and we'll only take the truck this trip so we won't need the extra parking. Don't really care about the sand pad but would deal with it if we had too. I'm trying to plan for next Halloween.

It should fit, I saw several of them in the full hook up loops this trip. There are a few sites that you will have a time with, but I would think as long as they were made aware of it a 32 footer should do fine in most of them. We carry two sections of 8x20' outdoor carpet with us and when staying on sites like full hookups, we cover the sand with the carpet. When we are done camping I just put the carpet in the back of the truck and wash it after I get home. Also, unless you drive to the parks you can park your truck in overflow. We did this last trip and it made the site feel so much bigger.

Since we brought up the topic of shows earlier, I got a proud dad moment. This time of year the Moscow Ballet Company tours the U.S. performing the tradition Nutcracker Ballet on stage.

They will sometimes utilize local children from dance studios to help by using them for the extras. Both of my nieces have been selected in the past to take part. Well last night they were in Meridian performing and my oldest was able to take part in this years showing.

You should be ok. Put the length of the rig on the resi to be sure. My 5er is 31 ft and we fit ok on a Preferred site. They are essentially the same size as a Full. I do sometimes put boards down and push the rear set of wheels on to the sand pad. Just so I have a little more room to park the truck in front.

That is very cool. I'm sure it will be something she always remembers.

Well, what can I say? They cheer for a wild boar.

Growing up we ate squirrel, but we were poor, very poor. It's a dark meat, has good flavor, but you have to take out about about 12 just to have a meal.

After years and much good fortune I can sit in a deerstand or on my porch and feed the little guys and enjoy their humerous frolicking.

My Jack Russel on the other hand...

Next week will be tough for me Randy. I'm a Florida fan first having grown up in Florida. But since living in Alabama I became a Bama fan. I went to most Florida home games this year. I just got in from Gainesville a few hours ago. I'm going to have to sit this one out.

Jim is a good coach, Florida's days of struggling in the SEC East are coming to an end. If Georgia gets its wish and possibly lands Bama's DC Kirby Smart, the SEC East could become very interesting.

I can see how that night's gonna go,....
Hello Baldwin County Jail.....
That night?

Dude, you'll be wrestling an alligator one night = jail
I'll be doing a drunken Elvis impersonation another night = jail
Flametamr fire dancing on beach = jail

That leaves BamaEd and Teamubr to bail us out...

Ha! You forgot Ed is dressing up as the alligator! That only leaves Teamubr!

Maybe I should call the County Jail and see if they have any campsites, it will save us multiple trips in the back of cop cars!

Unless it all works out, then we can all quit our jobs and take our show on the road!

I'm no fun. Very boring. Nerdy and all. Turn in early every night. Ho hum. Tis true. Bama Ed

Nothing wrong with that. We need somebody to keep us straight. Kinda like seargent Hulka from Stripes or really Captain Miller (Tom Hanks) from Saving Private Ryan. I don't like the word nerdy, I prefer witty myself.

I say this, you were offering to take the girls shopping which stands to cost me more money than jail.
