I just checked Costco and their Alamo rate has gone up since I booked. Wrong direction.

Looks like some of the prices are down right now. I just got a 7-passenger minivan for $204 for 7 days at the beginning of February.

Oh... sorry about that. I got the minivan through Alamo for Jan. 30 - Feb. 6 using the BJ's code (7014696) and the 2016 Entertainment Book coupon for $15 off (AD9Z14AAH).

Just got a mid-sized with Dollar using the BJs discount for just under $300 including taxes for a week plus an extra day (landing at lunch time, not leaving until late evening). Very happy after seeing prices that were double and triple that with other companies. This is for 2/20-2/27. Dollar's not my favorite to rent from, but it's better than paying double or having to jump through hoops to get a car elsewhere.

Just got a minivan for 10 days in early January through Enterprise for $272 after all fees and taxes. Additional driver, if a spouse, is free. Used code ENBKDR5 (15% off a weekly rental). Hope this helps.

Just checked Dollar today and my "best" pick is a mid-size SUV with Dollar Express and AAA for $295.00. Still a ridiculous price for 5 days. Will keep looking.

We also need a 2 day rental pre-cruise and the best I have today is with National 5007125
$142 for a full size car. My date is earlier than yours, pick up Feb 4th.

Holy Moly--we just finalized the dates of our Feb trip (Feb 26 - March 5) and the prices were $400+ for all companies for a full size on the Costco travel website. That is insane! I will keep looking--$200 ish seems about right. Must haves are being able to skip the counter in the terminal (want to go right to picking out the car) and free spouse driver. We like Alamo and National. I will keep shopping! At least we just need a full size this time and not a mini van.

We are going Feb 27 - March 4.. thanks to this thread, I got a midsize through Alamo using the Brazil code - 7016427 ( which I had no idea what it was!).. picked a compact and got automatic upgrade and got it for $157!! THANKS FOR THE INFO!

I have used the Brazil code for my last 2 rentals - I check in at the kiosk and go to the garage and get my car. Easy! Haven't had any problems.
