Opinions on Delta?

Just wondering if anybody had any thoughts on them. Right now they are decently price for my husband and I to fly out of Victoria in their new Comfort+.

I've used them a few times and overall they were fine. The only time I wasn't happy with them was when they switched our flight times by leaving six hours later, with only 2 weeks before departure.I was lucky enough to get another flight with United for basically the same times and price,as Delta was good enough to refund our money in this instance.

We've only flown Delta within North America- Detroit is a hub, so it's our cheapest option. They make a lot of equipment changes so seats change. Once the plane they switched us to had mechanical issues & we were delayed 3 hrs after getting up at 4AM. Not amused.

I flew Delta in June 2014 and they were the worst airline I've ever flown! I'm on Vancouver Island and I had a flight delayed 10 hours while on my layover in Salt Lake City, I got into Vancouver too late to fly home. Delta did absolutely nothing to help, and they lost my luggage with the huge delay! Plus their customer service was non existent!

Have flown Delta out of Detroit many times and would fly them again anytime. As posted...way better than A/C Rouge

I've flown them a few times, and have a few changes made to the flight schedules but only by the most an hour. Never had a problem otherwise in terms of service, etc.

We flew delta out of Buffalo for our last trip, I would rank them about the same as all the other major airlines (United, American, air canada, etc). Service was fine. DH and I both prefer either JetBlue or Southwest if driving to the states to fly is an option, or WestJet if leaving from TO, but if delta or one of the others is cheaper we go with those, the differences in service/seat space aren't enough to trump price for us.

One exception would be if you need to check a lot of luggage, then southwest really has an edge with their free bag policy

I generally use Delta when flying out of Detroit. Reasonable prices but I always try to use Southwest first. Southwest seems to be more organized and has cheaper rates in my opinion.

Thank you all for your input. Delta out of Victoria for Black Friday deals gave us the best price and travel time. West jet would have been about 200 dollars cheaper but we would have been travelling for an additional 7 hours! No thank you!

Flown Delta 3 times. Had issues all three times but every time they did something about it. Stuck in New York overnight because of an overbooked flight. Got them to put my on the red-eye the next night and spent the morning and afternoon in Manhattan to end my trip.

Had major flight delay going to Puerto Rico but was constantly offered snacks, drinks and there was always a gate agent to answer questions and give updates.

I always believe that you can tell how good a company is when they have to deal with making things right by their customers. Delta has always gone furthest to make their customers happy when I have had issues.

I used Delta several times. I found they have a great movie selection and flight attendants are really nice (not the counter agents though....).
One time, they have to take 1 person off from a flight due to over booking so I volunteered. I ended up going home with 1200.00USD credit with Delta! (And I think I paid only around 1100CAD for that trip...) So I was happy about it and my husband and I could fly free to MCO for Disney cruise trip using this credit :)

Like with any of the airlines, it is most definetly on a case by case basis, but they are as good as any of the other big airlines
