Giving Thanks and Getting Fit - November Exercise Challenge!!

Well, the week before the holiday flew by (easy when you only work 2 of the days)!

Tuesday: 83

Wednesday: 93

Thursday: 69

Friday/Saturday: 0 (super super lazy)

Looking forward to hopefully getting in the gym tomorrow if we get home early enough! Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday :)

I haven't posted in weeks - not a lot of minutes this month - was sick for a few weeks with respiratory issues - and not up to much.

80 minutes between the 2nd & 3rd week of the month walking & yoga

56 minutes run/walk on Thanksgiving
37 minute walk
17 minute yoga / stretch yesterday
27 minute walk today

412/1000 total

going to try to get to halfway over the next 2 days!

I love the pumpkin "Pi" and Rice Krispie turkey leg!

We just got back from a weekend away at Great Wolf Lodge (an indoor water park) so it's both my exercise minutes and my "Sunday Thankful." I'm grateful that we were able to go and have some wonderful family time. - I went with DH, DS, and our nephew, and we had a blast!

Between 1:00pm Friday and 11:00am today, there was lots of walking, swimming, and especially stair-climbing! It was spread out in various chunks, but I'm going to make a rough guess that it amounted to at least two hours of good exercise, so that puts me at 520/500.

Here are some pics of the resort:

Yes, you actually go outside the building while in the slide tunnels! And that last pic is the interior of a walk-in gingerbread house in the lobby. - Saturday night was the official start of their Christmas season, so I was loving all the decorations!

Congratulations to everyone who has hit their goal, and super-encouraging cheers to anyone who is close and trying to make it by tomorrow!!

30 minutes of walking yesterday and 10 today. It has been frigid here with snow and ice - lows in the single digits and highs below freezing. I always struggle to get exercise in when it is so miserable out. I do have a rowing machine that I need to get into the habit of using. I just prefer the great outdoors so it's an adjustment every winter.

Today I am thankful to have a job that I love and that allows me to work flexible hours.

725/900

@PollyannaMom - That looks like a fun place to stay. How cool that the slide goes outside, and I'm sure the Christmas decorations were so fun to see!
