Target Cyber Monday: 15% Everything Online

Target is having a Cyber Monday deal that is 15% off everything online, code CYBER15. Anyone think this will be good on gift cards? I do know they have a 3 qty. limit on ordering th $100 Disney gift card (at least per transaction). I know gift cards have bit hit or miss, but if it works that's a great deal on cheaper dues. With their stock down 7% they're doing what they can to drive traffic.

Extremely doubtful but sometimes a few slip thru before they correct it.

Every target sale
So far has had exclusions...

I'm trying to buy some very expensive Legos...so I hope Monday's sale is truly everything...

But giftcards would be a nice get too...now that you mention it.

Last year, they had a sale on either the first or second Saturday in December which allowed up to $300 in gift cards to be purchased at a discount. Sale was until noon that day. Some boasted about going to multiple stores buying thousands worth to pay their dues.

Having it on cyber Monday may allow them to control the total number who get any deal.

I have never used my target red card to buy gift cards but have read on the boards that many do for the 5% off.
Do you think the 15% off can be used with the 5% off as well ??
Thanks

I think the two discounts can be combined but I do not think the 15% off will apply to gift card purchases-the ad said site wide BUT "exclusions apply" and every other coupon they have put out recently excludes gift cards.

Anyone have any luck with this today? I tried but the website said "the items in my cart didnt qualify"

Giftcards and Legos are excluded.

I honestly think this is the worst years for sales I've seen in about 10...

It must be just like walt Disney world...everyone is swimming in so much discretionary cash that prices are "no object"

Bread and circuses for everyone!!

Gift cards are confirmed excluded. Target has wised up I guess. I do think the 5% off with Red Card would still qualify (we don't have the card, so can't confirm).

Do you remember if Target advertised this discount you are describing prior to the offer that included the gift card? Do you remember the percentage of the discount ?

Well...I got the 20% coupon for a $75 purchase on Black Friday and it has the same exclusions that all the other sales have had...

No giftcards and in the case of Lego it is the ONLY excluded toy. Not necessarily the case in the past.

I noticed the sets aren't selling out around me very much as well. Lego is really proud of itself this year and is pricing accordingly...I'm surprised they haven't started "tiered pricing" based on what day you buy...

They just aren't playing this year...
And even though I get the 5% off at target I will be buying elsewhere...

It's the "cyber Monday 15% all orders" banners they've been running. It took me along time to find the exclusions tab that had the exclusions that have been the same way for months...but I found them.

It just seems disingenuous...and if you wanted my hefty Lego bill...you just lost it.

Amazon or toys r us wins this time.

Yes, they explicitly advertised in the weekly ad last year (2014). It was a before noon only promotion. I remember it was a one day only before noon. DW thought I was crazy, but I made sure to go there. Several people were buying gift cards in the line I was in. (I think I was the only one buying Disney gift cards). NOTE: I may be off on the total they allowed. I thought it was $300, but maybe it was $150.

On the budget forum, someone posted that their store put up the wrong ad yesterday. They claim the weekly ad starting 12/6 will give a free $5 Target gift card with 2 - $50 Disney gards.

Edit: here is the link to that post...

So that's $5 toward a different store...

Or I could go buy $100 in cards to today for $95...yawn.

They're not trying very hard

$5 gift card is for Target (store that is selling them). Combined with the RED card 5% off, it's $95 to receive $100 in Disney Gift cards plus $5 Target gift card.

I'm grateful for any deal in the first place. DW and I shop at Target regularly. We also travel to Disney regularly. A 9.52% savings sure beats what DW and I will be spending.

Based on the totallytarget web site screen shot of this Sunday's (12/6) flier, Target will in fact give a free $5 Target gift card with the purchase of two $50 Disney gift cards.
The image explicitly shows the $50 Disney gift card (Buffalo Wild Wings, Starbucks, and AMC are also shown). It says only valid on the gift cards shown.

If the redcard takes 5% off, that would mean the 9.52% savings.
