MVMCP parade with no party tix?

Hi there,
We are going to be at WDW in the beginning of December for the very first time. On Dec 6 we will be spending our first day at Magic Kingdom but we don't have party tickets for MVMCP. Well, today I was able to get a supper reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern at 6:55pm. I've heard that the parade route goes through Liberty Square (is this accurate?). Since we will probably be wrapping up dinner just about at parade time, do you think we'll be able to catch a sneak peek of the Christmas party parade in Liberty Square on our way out of the park? I thought I read somewhere once that they escort late diners without party tix out of the park after their meal...but that doesn't really sound logistically possible when I think of the manpower that would take.
Thanks in advance.
Karol

It shouldn't take that much manpower to escort a few late diners out of the park - I doubt you'd be able to see much of the parade.

Agreed. In Fall '14 we had a late BOG dinner on a MNSSHP night and were finished around 8:25p. One CM escorted both us and another family to the main gate afterward.

It doesn't take that much manpower - there will not be that many guests to be escorted. You should expect that you will not be able to stay to watch the parade.

I don’t want to sound like a you know what, but I would hope that people who don’t have tix ARE escorted out. Me and others who are attending the parties paid a lot of extra money and seeing the parade is a perk for having party tickets. You didn’t pay for the party, then you shouldn’t be able to slow down, stop and ‘sneek a peek’ at a party exclusive perk.

Thanks for the info everyone...I totally understand about not seeing something you didn't pay for etc. However, who wouldn't like to take a peek as they are walking out the gates? ...kinda like peeking at your Christmas presents. :teeth: :santa:

Yes, diners are escorted out. Sometimes they hold families back to take a couple together. They will usually be carrying a sign above their head for you to follow them (Halloween Party is a ghost) .... aka the scarlet letter.

Odds are you would be finishing up by parade time, and they would walk you straight to the front gate with minimal chance of seeing the parade since it comes from Frontierland. You would be ahead of it and probably taking the route behind Liberty Tree over the bridges.

This is just out of curiosity..

I know there are wristbands for the party but when you are done eating and the party is happening, do they specifically ask you if you have a wristband or do they actually check for it? I ask because last year on our first night at the parks we were eating at Tony's and the party had started before we were done eating and we weren't escorted out. We did leave the park because we didn't have tickets for it but no one ever stopped us before we left the restaurant to escort us out. Is that maybe because we were already at the entrance basically so we could just see ourselves out? On our way out a CM had stopped us because I was wearing a Kingdom Hearts shirt and we chatted with him about the game for like 10 minutes so maybe they got distracted and forgot to get us on the way out?

We are gonna be doing the same thing in about two weeks, dinner at Tony's on our first night and the party will start before we leave, so I guess I'm just wondering how they get the non party people together, like maybe we missed something since we weren't escorted out. Again we have no intention of staying, but I'm just curious how this works.

I would guess it was your location. Had you tried to go to the right with no wristbands, CMs would probably have stopped you walking, would have blocked your way in to restaurants, shops, bathrooms .... and asked you to head to the front gate.
