Black Friday Sale?

Was anyone successful in booking this? I tried, but the dates I plugged in didn't have HRH, just a bunch of random hotels. I called today at 8:20AM Eastern time, and got a recording saying they were closed.

Bummer.

@Happyjen27 I received an email from UOR about the Black Friday sale and followed the link. At first I thought it wasn't working, and then I clicked on the "details" link and found there are black out dates. The special did not apply to the dates I wanted to book.

I did check the dates, and I'm in the sweet spot. I also tried to eliminate the weekend dates thinking that was the end of Feb Break and maybe they were booked, but even into the next week, no dice. Oh well. I'm going anyway, room is already booked. Was just hoping to save a buck or two, and wondering if anyone was able to book one of the onsite hotels through the Universal Black Friday Sale. (Thank you for the quotes to the people who posted the Loew's Hotel deal so I didn't bother trying the Cyber Monday deal!)

I tried to book as well and my dates are within the promotion, however, I was only getting partner hotels on Universal's website. I went straight to the loews website and when I tried to price out a Universal hotel I got a message saying they were doing server maintenance, so maybe that's why the hotels aren't showing up?

I requested a quote and was advised that you MUST buy the park tickets with the package and that the promo was for partner / Off property hotels only.

I just called and switched our Harry Potter package at CBBR for 1/8-1/12 to a package at RPR. I lost the Harry Potter stuff, so the free breakfasts and Shutterbuttons will have to be paid for OOP, but the increase was only $109, so even paying cash for those things, to be able to move up to a deluxe for around $200 was definitely worth it for me. The phone rep was super helpful and waived the change fee (I'm assuming because my new package was more expensive than the old one).
