Hi everyone!
Quick question for those of you more knowledgeable than I!
We are a party of four travelling (all family), and we've booked two rooms at the Yacht Club - as while we're close, we're not close enough to want to share a bed ;-)
I was wondering how I can ensure/request that we are assigned rooms with Queen Beds (and not a king bed or other configuration)?; also both reservations show up in my MDE account in this format:
12345678
and
12345678A
The "A" being the only difference between the two reservation numbers; does this mean we are likely to get rooms near each other/connecting - and if not, is that something I can request closer to check-in? (April 2016)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING - a day late!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving surprise! DH surprised us be booking a quick trip to see the Holiday decorations and activities. We have never been at Thisbtime of the year before. He saw cheap frontier airline tickets and grabbed them. It's a cheap trip so we won't be at BC/YC. We are trying CBR. We leave tomorrow morning and leave Wednesday night
My DH lost his brother shortly after we came back this summer and my mom is requiring more care now so this trip will be a great escape from reality.
Teena - are you working this weekend? Would love and pop over to say hello and give you a big hug!

We are going to DHS on Sunday so I will definitely be able to run over. What time are you working?
DH got cold feet this morning and tried to switch to BC\YC but no availability at all!

9:00 AM I start. I normally go to lunch from 12:45 to 1:30 and leave for the day at 5:20.

Hey everyone! I've had my April 11th to 21st honeymoon booked for some months now and I see that the early 2016 room discount is only until April 13th. If I called to ask to take advantage of the discount would they only be able to give me a discount for my nights up until April 13th? Or could they apply it to the whole trip? If they can only apply it for up until April 13th should I just wait until the next discount dates come and home to get more of my nights discounted?

Most discounts are based upon CHECK IN date, so as long as you check in on the 11th, you should be fine
Darn well I just called and they said that discount isn't one of the ones that can be extended for your entire stay
The cast member did suggest calling back on January 1st when a new discount could come out that may end up covering our entire stay. I did however, after getting off the phone, simply go online and update my existing reservation to use the early 2016 discount for the first 3 nights of our stay. Hey almost $500 off is a pretty good start. Hopefully with the next discount it will cover all of our days and we can get a bigger chunk taken off

Very happy news to share, our baby granddaughter was born today. We can't wait to see her (and her sweet family) in a couple of weeks.
So much to be thankful for!
Congrats!!! I am sure your little princess will bring you as much joy as Princess Lily has brought to me!!!!!!

BOO hiss that I am not receiving emails on updates here. I had pages to catch up on. I will be really interested to follow along the Yacht Club's rehab, especially the CL. It will be close to our 20th wedding anniversary, and I couldn't think of a better place to spend it ~ at my most favorite resort! Now I just have to make sure I check in every day here to keep in the loop with y'all! Glad to be back here with my YC/BC buddies, and I hope to make a few more friends!
