To BOG or not to BOG

I have breakfast reservations at BOG and I am seriously considering canceling them. Later in my trip I have lunch and dinner reservations at BOG and I have breakfast scheduled for CRT, so I will have a morning in the park before it opens. Is there really anything that breakfast offers that makes it worth almost twice the cost of lunch? Or are the only perks getting to the park early and eating in beasts castle, which I am already doing?

I have not had breakfast there, but dad and I were just talking about this yesterday, as I brought up booking a breakfast ADR for our upcoming trip in March. He said that most people he talks to tell him they feel like they got hosed - just not enough food nor quality to justify the price. If Mine Train is a motivator in this booking it's not a guarantee that it will be up and running when you get out. I'm not saying this about you specifically, but a lot of people assume they will be able to get to ride the Mine before RD if they have a BOG ADR (and granted, there are a lot that are able to) but this just isn't always the case.

It was the only BOG I was able to snag...Hopefully it isn't that bad LOL

If you've never been there before and that's the only time you can get, then go for it. I love the place, though I had to give up my ADR this last trip (in favor of a last minute snag I wanted more, so it wasn't that hard to do). I've got dinner lined up for this next trip and I refuse to give it up this time!

Don't laugh, but...I'm pregnant and I started crying when I found that ressie LOL

Thank you! It's so hard to keep track of everything...especially with pregnancy brain! (and I still get to claim new mommy brain...littlest is only 11 months LOL)

Beast isn't on our short list of characters we want to see anyway, so no biggie

We have pre park opening ADR at BOG in April, we have had lunch and dinner in the past. The breakfast is very expensive, if park hours change I may cancel it. I love the castle atmosphere so that with the 0800 time Make it worth for us at this time. We loved lunch the best so far so lunch I think is a good option. I was reading a dining report and the author stated the price had increased from the 19.99 to I believe 23.99 yikes that is high for QS breakfast. All ears menu still says 19.99 but the author of the report was just there the end of October.

The cost now for breakfast is 21.99 not 23.99, still high up 10%.
