How to charge a scooter at the treehouse villas

I will be joining my daughter and son in law at the Treehouse Villas over the holidays. I have some mobility issues but can go up and down stairs. That said, my stamina requires me to rent a scooter. How do you charge a scooter at the Treehouses? Member services called Saratoga Springs and they were told each treehouse has a fold out ramp even if it is not a disabled unit. Can anyone confirm or have a good way to charge? Thanks:moped:

This thread is from 2009, but is actually asking the same question you are.

The answers were that:
- there is a utility room, which houses the water heater and plumbing access, which is locked (so no access there).
- although you can park under the treehouse, since there is no protected place to park the ECV, you would need a tarp or a grill cover was also suggested to cover it. (I have seen other things confirming you can park underneath )

- there is an outlet on the porch and one on the pedistal that the treehouse rests on. The tree houses were not complete yet when that thread was written, and no one was sure whether a cord would reach to plug in

- it is (or at least was) possible to rent ECVs which had batteries that could be removed for charging. If you have a vehicle, the ECV could be left in it and just the batteries brought in for charging.

I have not heard or seen anything about a fold out ramp. I can't imagine that working the way the units are constructed and how high off the ground they are. As far as I know, only the 4 handicap accessible Treehouses have ramps.

Could you bring an outside-rated extension cord? I'm picturing a long orange style one, as we have a half dozen in our basement :) If there is an outside outlet anywhere on the decking, a 20-30 foot cord should make access easier. If you have a car, you could even stop at a WalMart down there and pick one up?

I would hope staying in the treehouses you will have a vehicle. It is very difficult/inconvenient to stay in these without a vehicle.
I would recommend making sure your model has a battery pack that can be easily removed for charging purposes. Then just bring the battery pack in to charge it. Easy enough. The battery pack should only weigh about 25 lbs or so.
