I still don't understand why they don't just outfit their 1 million APs and thousands of hotel guests with Magic Bands. Add the RFID chip to the one/multi-day passes for FP and call it a day. Most people don't hate on Magic Bands, most hate on FP+.

I agree. The only difference I see happening at Disneyland is no 60 day in advance FP booking. If they do in advance FP booking at all I see it at 30 day max, more than likely day of tho.

They had them back in September at certain rides. If you had a certain Annual Pass, you could walk up and have your pass scanned on one of the kiosks and basically book a FP+ for right then.

I've been told this particular one is likely for Apple Pay as its at a food cart.

Ahhh. The ones at the rides just looked similar, and had a little monitor/computer screen on the other side, but was more handheld and like an iPad in size - but it had the key/pin pad and the MagicBand circle, as well as the swipe reader. I remember it quite often at RSR, as it was right by where FP and the single rider lines went into the main, final queue area.

This act seems to be taking over for the Paul McKenna Band whose last day was Nov 20th. Which I got to say always look miserable, I don't think they took to the Florida environment well. The description of their sound and look is similar, actually looking at McKenna facebook some of the band might of stayed behind to form the new band. This makes the 3rd? act to leave after their year contract. I wonder if Disney actively trying to rotate these now or if the groups just want to move on to other things?
 
Does anyone know if DLR has implemented WiFi in the parks yet? I'd find it absurd to integrate FP+ or even Apple Pay without resort-wide WiFi. I was there in July and there was nothing.

I believe they have some but it's not very good.
