Tables In Wonderland

No, but they have raised the price to $150. It makes it harder to justify the cost, especially if you are eligible for some of the 10% AP discounts.

The AP discount is for entree's only. I think it will be worth depending on your plans and how often you to WDW in a year.. I rather buy a TWI card over a dining plan.

Yea would always depend on how big the group you are travelling is with, how long you are staying there for e.t.c. I'm sure some parties would probably hit that figure fairly quickly. Certainly not right for everyone.

Yes, but the AP discounts push your breakeven over $1000. We spend about $200 per day on food. We do 2-3 trips per year (10-15 days total), so it is still worth it for us.

I think we've bought our last one. The new price makes it really hard to justify it for a smaller family or a couple. It's still an OK deal for larger families since it's percentage based. We bought our current one last summer (@ $100) when we were there as a family of 3 for 10 days - we ate several TS meals on that trip and probably broke even on it. DH and I went earlier this month just the 2 of us and I think really only used it at Rose & Crown for a few beers (as it wasn't accepted at the F&W kiosks). We have 2 more family trips booked where we will go over our investment cost (6 n in January & 8 n in June). But our future trips after next summer will be changing as our DS is now in college - and with the new price of AP's we may not even go every year. It wouldn't make sense for us to get the TIW for just the 2 of us. We will probably just use the DVC / AP discounts (if we even continue to buy the AP's after the ones we have now expire).

At the few restaurants we used the AP discount we were told entrees only. BUT you should always ask about discounts. I kept a card hold with me with my AP/DVC/TIW & photo id to make sure I was covered.

The TIW card would be much, much more beneficial for you.

First trip we had a dining plan for 8 days. Second trip we use TIW/AP for a 14 day trip. We spent more on food on the 8 day trip with the dinning plan.

If one person has a TIW card, how many people at your table does it cover? I assume the card holder has to pay the entire bill.
From the TiW website:
The Tables in Wonderland discount is good for up to 10 people including the member, as long as everyone is on the same check, and the Tables in Wonderland member is paying the bill. If you have the Tables in Wonderland card, and your spouse or partner has the Tables in Wonderland secondary card, together you may cover up to 20 people (including the member and his/her spouse/partner). Both members must live at the same address and be 21 years of age or older.

Yup, and it is. I buy it every year. Just got back tonight from a vacation with my sisters family. We spent over $2k on TIW and a bunch of that was alcohol.
