That appears to have be just another false rumor. What is the deal? Is it to be discontinued? If so when?
No, but they have raised the price to $150. It makes it harder to justify the cost, especially if you are eligible for some of the 10% AP discounts.

The AP discount is for entree's only. I think it will be worth depending on your plans and how often you to WDW in a year.. I rather buy a TWI card over a dining plan.

The TIW card would be much, much more beneficial for you.Yes, but the AP discounts push your breakeven over $1000. We spend about $200 per day on food. We do 2-3 trips per year (10-15 days total), so it is still worth it for us.

From the TiW website:If one person has a TIW card, how many people at your table does it cover? I assume the card holder has to pay the entire bill.
http://tablesinwonderland.com/The Tables in Wonderland discount is good for up to 10 people including the member, as long as everyone is on the same check, and the Tables in Wonderland member is paying the bill. If you have the Tables in Wonderland card, and your spouse or partner has the Tables in Wonderland secondary card, together you may cover up to 20 people (including the member and his/her spouse/partner). Both members must live at the same address and be 21 years of age or older.
