November 2015....The countdown begins!!

33 days! I am so ready to pack but am waiting on the forecast. I read a trip report from last November where the family had to go buy coats because it got so cold. November is a wild card!
Ugh... I can't stop worrying about what to pack. There are already 7 of us, so packing a little more means a lot more! I guess we will pack shorts and a couple pairs of pants and some sweatshirts....

Anybody have a good packing list? I can't find mine and I have so much going on right now I'm afraid I'm going to forget stuff. So excited!!!!

Hello fellow Disney planners!

I haven't been on the boards since last year. Reading and planning so much had me stressed. This year I took it easy but am regretting it because I didn't get a couple ADRs that are favourites in our fam :worried: Desperate for Akershus!

How are we all feeling about November crowd levels? I'll go back and read some on this thread to try and get in the game :cutie:

19 days! I asked how soon is too soon to start packing lol

A week ago was too soon

29 DAYS!!! I can't wait! We're actually leaving a week earlier to head to Florida to see family & some other sites before we pop over to WDW for 3 nights with my parents. Can. Not. Wait. :mickeyjum

ETA: I have officially started packing. My family has a limited wardrobe they may now wear for the next 3 weeks. LOL Am I the only one who does that? ;)

So are we :thumbsup2:thumbsup2
In Georgia visiting my sister & we went to the World of Coke today. Got my 2 nephews to try the Beverly :rotfl2:Can't wait to be in Epcot again!!!

I really want to visit Atlanta on a summer vacation. World of Coke is on my must do list. Maybe in the next few years.

We are bringing a little bit of everything. We were there 4 years ago for Thanksgiving Week and 2 years ago for the second week of Dec. We really lucked out with the weather as both times it was a little chilly in the morning and was hot during the day and got a little chilly at night. I remember the night we went to MVMCP it was really cold and were so glad we had our winter coats, scarves, and gloves. We did not get rain either trip but always bring umbrellas and ponchos just in case. I hope everyone has great weather when they go!

Ha, oh, we will be bringing plenty of those... Now I just have to answer the eternal question: disposable ponchos or nice reusable ones?

When we went the week after Thanksgiving 2012 our experience with the weather was pretty much as CynBeth explained it ::yes:: The only difference was that a couple nights it got REALLY cold, like hat/glove cold. So I'll reluctantly be packing 4 hats and 4 pairs of gloves along with shorts, jeans, t shirts, sweatshirts, etc. lol!! But like you said MaryBlairFan, packing more beats the summer heat :sunny:

We like the reusable ones because in the event of a torrential downpour, they keep us drier. When we're in a deluxe resort we hang them on the balcony or in the 2nd bathroom to dry out. if we stay moderate we go for the disposables, just a lack of drying room thing. Also just our preference, the disposables do the job just fine :thumbsup2

same here, we have 7, including a 4mo old...and we're coming from North Dakota. So we'll technically have our parkas ;) and such but DANG it I hope nobody needs a coat! I bet my kids will want to swim if it's > 50F haha
Good call asking about a packing list!!

@old feller Noo no no don't worry about reserving parking, we're coming from North Dakota, but it's SO much cheaper for us this time to fly out of Minnapolis, MN. So we're driving 3-4 hrs to the airport, and I want to make sure we have a space since it will be on Thanksgiving! Don't want to pay airport parking garage prices but the park n fly type places will let you reserve now :)

32 days! I think I need to do a packing drill to see what we're still missing. I'm not completely positive I have 28 pairs of underwear to pack for the 4 of us, much less whether we all have 2 wardrobes to bring with us for every weather contingency!

I'm enjoying everyone else's excitement on this board! It's hard to contain myself when I'm around people in the real world who don't get to go to Disney next month.

I know what you mean. It makes things even better to share our excitement with each other as some of us are going the same time or close to it and we all understand those certain milestones such as when we could make ADRs and FP selections and soon it will be receiving our MBs and packets among other things that people not obsessed with Disney do not get.

31 days until we leave! Getting so excited! Went over daughter's wardrobe this weekend, just waiting on a few more things to come in. Need to start on mine and DH's wardrobe! A couple of shirts I want to make, so I better get busy! Now if it would just cool down, it was a balmy 90 degrees in Texas today. Yuck.
