Disney Fantasy Cruise September 10, 2016

:jumping1:Woohoo!!! I just booked!! I am so excited. DH & I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on this cruise. Our kids will not be with us. It feels weird to be taking a Disney Cruise without the kids, well they aren't kids they are 22 & 20.
 
We are going to celebrate our 25th anniversary also on the cruise, but the entire family and other friends are going to be on board also, we can't wait
 


I really wish my kids could go with us but they are unable to take time away from college. Hopefully one will graduate college in May and have a real job :)

I haven't even thought about excursions yet. I am still trying figure out my room. I have a GTY 9C right now. I think for $200 more I am going to lock in a balcony room. I have cruised on DCL 5 times, four of which were in an inside room. The last 4 night cruise we did, I had a GTY 6 cabin and ended up with an upgrade to a 4. That was great. Now, I am spoiled....I love verandah's. We cruise a lot with Carnival also. We can always afford a verandah with them.

I am really excited as well. I do not plan on telling my kids for a long time.
 
oh, where is everyone staying the night before? I am thinking we are going to stay at Port Orleans Riverside for one night. I love going to downtown Disney, I mean Disney Springs :)
 


Yay! We just booked this today while still in Paradise onboard the Fantasy. It will be our first cruise as DCL Gold. Sailing is our family of 4, me along with DH and our two kids who will be 9 (DD) and 6 (DS) at the time and also my Uncles from Chicago.

We are Floridians and I did question booking this... we've always avoided hurricane season but our annual schedule got messed up this year. Hoping for another magical cruise!! Will hop over to the FB meet too.
 
All 12 of us are coming in at different times, we have not done our airline tickets yet but we will have people coming in at various times. So we are all just staying at the airport hotel. But since I will be on the earliest flight landing I plan on doing something, not sure what at this time.
 
As far as excursions, we are only going to do one, and from looking at what is available, probably will do the dolphin encounter, because that will take up the entire budget. I know my kids only really had enough for their cabin, they are only going in to walk around town or just stay on the ship

We haven't decided where we'll be staying... I'm not sure how it'll work out as we'll be flying in from different destinations.

We've sailed before in September and had an absolute blast, the weather was fantastic! Just wishing, hoping, and praying it'll be the same this time round :genie:

We haven't look at flights yet either, but the airpot hotel sounds good. I'm going to look into it!

I haven't looked at excursions yet, just wondered if anyone else had. Does anyone know when the first sailing to Tortola will be? I really want to hear from those that sailed... pretty disappointed that there's no St Martin port. I'm sure we'll enjoy it anyway!!!
 
Hello cruise friends! We are going on this cruise, Sept, 10th on the Fantasy. We went on the Dream this past September... Me, my husband, and my daughter (age 4). So EXCITED! Glad you all have a board already started. We won't be doing the FE... (I don't think...) We did it on the Dream, so I think we are declining on this one!
 
Hi everyone! I booked my cruise a few weeks ago and am depressed over how far away it is, lol. I've been on one Disney cruise before in 2013, on the same ship and am excited. So excited that I actually booked it when my daughter was only 3 months old, hahahaha. She will be 14 months old at cruise time. We are going with my parents in a connecting stateroom w/ connecting verandahs. I've never had a balcony before, woohoo!
 
Hi, I'm Denise. It will be me (51) & DH Mike (50) and we will be cruising without the kids. We did it one other time and had so much fun. This will be our 6th Disney Cruise. We love the Fantasy. I defiantly want to participate in the FE!!!!
 
Yay! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We booked our second Disney cruise and just told our older 3 kids today. We will tell the little boys as we get closer to the sail date.

It was SO much fun to tell the older 3 kids today! They've been waiting for 5 years. After taking our first cruise (courtesy of my parents) back in 2008 on the Magic, we decided to do another cruise in 2011. We booked it, told the kids, got super-excited, then adoption rocked our world! Our 3 kids wholeheartedly decided to drop the cruise so we could adopt this little boy we had only seen online. "We can go later when he's with us." We ended up adopting that little boy AND a second boy that summer.
Now, after these years and our boys we'd never trade for a thousand Disney cruises, we ALL get to experience the Fantasy together! The little boys are going to flip when we tell them this summer. Our teens are excited and already planning.
We'll be driving from Austin, spending a few days at Universal Studios before embarking on the 10th!
For now, we plan to visit The Baths at Tortola, Magen Bay at St. Thomas. Castaway Cay was our favorite port back in 2008 and we can't *wait* to visit again. (We totally would have double-dipped if they had them in 2016.)
I'd love to be a part of a facebook group as well as participate in the FE for my younger ones at least. (Do teens participate? If you have teens, I'd totally do a FE exchange with you.)
Only 36 more weeks!
Oh, I'll add (for those who search for keywords like I do!) that we have requested sign language interpreters for the cruise. They were fabulous last time and I know they will be again! DH and DS7 are Deaf and DS6 is hard-of-hearing. We are an ASL family. :)

This will be our second DCL cruise. :sail::boat: I'm another Denise also! Celebrating DH's 50th bday :cake:, our 28th anniversay (on embarkation day) and DGS 1st Disney adventure! Flying down a day early and staying overnight at RI Cocoa Beach. Haven't discussed excursions yet as there will be 7 of us! Can't wait! :hourglass :jumping1:

Hey everyone! I can't believe how early this was started! We booked yesterday and are so excited! This will be my 7th Disney cruise, hubby's 2nd, my eldest daughters 3rd (6), youngest daughters 2nd (4), and new sons 1st (1). We are cruising with my mom and sister. Celebrating my 30th birthday! Hoping to participate in FE this year!
