Build a bear work shop and Magic Morning Questions

Aloha,
Has anyone done the Build a Bear work shop for DLH guests, was it worth the time to go?
Also, I was under the impression that if I bought a 5 day Hopper pass, we were entitled to one magic morning. I was just told by the DLH guest services, only if your staying at a Good Neighbor hotel you get the magic morning, I do not think the Dessert inn and Suites is a good neighbor, can someone clarify this for me.

We did the build a bear thing when we stayed at GCH, kids loved it. We got to go in with just one other family, they got the all star treatment!

Build-A-Bear and also Ridemakerz are good times for the kids. If you have sons into cars, Ridemakerz allow you to design a remote-controlled car.

Are you staying at DLH or DI&S?
The early entry to Build a Bear is only for guests staying onsite at one of the three DL hotels.
The DL Magic Morning is not tied to where you are staying. You have to purchase a 3+ day ticket that states it includes one Magic Morning. The Magic Morning is only applied to the ticket, not the hotel.

We are staying at both. Thanks for clarifying for me. I thought it had to do with the ticket not the hotel.

The days you are staying at the DLH will grant you early entry into DCA (Sun, Mon, Wed and Fri) and DL (Tue, Thurs and Sat).

We still get another one right? Associated with our 5 day park hopper when we stay at the Dessert inn?

You should get one MM for DL. If you stay at the DLH first though, it may get counted if you go for MM at DL. You can ask the CM at the turnstile to make sure to leave the Mm benefit on your ticket. If you will be at DI&S at the beginning, it will not matter and you would get the extra MM at DL (the one on the ticket cannot be used for DCA).

Mahalo Girlmama. We are staying at the DI&s first, did not know MM was only good for DL.

We did this last year and it was totally awesome!!! There were only 2 other families in the store. We were done before the store opened to the public.

Do you remember what time you got to go in to Build a Bear?
We will be going at 9am an hour earlier then it opens to the public. I am sure it depends what time of the year you go. You can make reservations 60 days before arrival, by calling. Its is open to 15 people.

Do you call the build a bear or the disneyland hotel? We are going in a few weeks and my girls want to do this.

Is the Build A Bear that crowded that early entry is needed? We will be staying at Paradise Pier Hotel-is the Build a Bear early entry open to all DLR resort guests? I had never heard about it until now!

It's totally worth it to have the early entry to Build-a-Bear! It's a madhouse once it opens to the public. We went on Sunday am with the DLH and were in and out in under an hour (with my daughter scouring every shelf to be sure she didn't miss seeing anything. We went again on Tuesday or Wednesday (because they sent me a coupon for a free $12 stuffed friend) and we were in line to stuff the bear for at least a half hour, then she still had to pick an outfit and then another long line for checkout. And this was by going to the shorter lines upstairs.
