Wait listing two resorts same night

I have a ressie at beach club for April 25, and one night in a boardwalk view room at bwv for the 26th. My goal is to have two nights at beach club, so I'm in the wait list at beach club for the 26th. I'd also like to wait list boardwalk for the 26 but with a standard view just to potentially save points. Is this possible? How will that work?

You can have two active WLs going on at one time per membership.
You can do this online or by calling MS.

I would keep the boardwalk view for the experience. In addition, BCV reports haven't been very positive with the rooms/resort needing refurbishment and the work scheduled for 2016.

I think if the BW standard fills first they will automatically cancel your BC wait list for that night - so you'd have to re wait list and start at the back of the line again for BC.

Looks like I will have to make a decision as to where to stay. I've never stayed at either resort, so I'm happy to be able to get a reservation at the 7 month mark. Guess I will decide which resort I want to stay at more. I've always like the looks of sab, and know the kids would enjoy it. Maybe I will do some research into the renos being done there.
Glad to know I can have two wait lists at one time
Thanks

Do you really want to stay at BWV Boardwalk view and in BWV standard view the next night? As you know the check in time is 4pm and you rarely get into the room before that. Hope your waitlists come through and that you have a wonderful vacation.

My experience has been that the 2nd waitlist will stay active until you deactivate.

Interesting, about a month ago I had BWV and VGF wait listed for 12/14 to replace an AKV room and when the BWV came through they deactivated the VGF wait list. But I was on the phone when we filled the WL as I'd spotted it on the RAT, so maybe that's why they deactivated it. Ultimately I switched it to VGF w/out a WL by calling when I spotted an opening @ VGF.

Technically sndral is correct. But in reality, the second may happen. I recently had WLs at 2 different resorts for the same night. I was doing a split stay with the same # of nights at 2 different resorts. Ironically, the night right in the middle, the "switch-over" night wasn't available at either place, so I waitlisted at both resorts, and the CM told me that whichever came through would then cancel the other. Sure enough one came through and I happened to call MS about something else. I verified that night, and she said, surprisingly, "Oh! They still have you waitlisted at the other resort for that night. Well, that shouldn't be!" So there's theory, but then there's reality.

Just had 2 wait lists for 2 different resorts on same night and when one came through they deactivated the other one. On the wait list page they tell you this is what will happen. (Of course we all know anything could happen!)

I'm starting to just think about booking the boardwalk view room that is still available as of today. that way im getting two nights in the same room without having to switch.
thanks for the info, everyone

The T&Cs on the waitlist say "If your waitlist request is confirmed, all other waitlist requests for comparable dates will be cancelled." It happened to me last year I had two waitlists for the same night at different resorts. When one matched, MS cancelled the other one immediately.
