Don't have much time, since we will be flying out that day. What are things we should not miss?

Can we skip Flights of Wonder and the Conservation Station or will we regret it?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

We would skip the Conservation Station - it can take a large chunk of time to wait for the train, ride over and back and explore the Station. That said, we enjoy Flights of Wonder.

If you get there at rope drop, I would think that in 5.5 hours you could do pretty well. You should be able to hit all the headliners in that time period and still have time to explore some of the animal trails.

Make your to do list and hit the most important with FP. Expedition Everest, The safari and FOTLK would my top three. The Flights of Wonder is a great show but it falls lower on my list. Conservation Island is fun for kids but as someone mentioned does take a while. If you will leave directly from the park, I would skip Kali River Ride as you can get totally soaked! I would try to eat a good breakfast before rope drop, be there early and just grab a snack or quick CS lunch during your limited time.

Those two and the safari are our must does at MK (I have a 7 year old). Depends on your kids though.

We've done the FOTLK once and that was enough. I'm guessing your little one won't want to ride dinosaur or Everest. AK can be a good place for characters. Sometimes the lines aren't too long.

The animal trails are also cool if your kids are super into animals.

My DS7 really like Conservation Station and Flights of Wonder! On our last trip, they were doing a vet procedure on a cheetah at Conservation Station - it was really amazing!

I would skip It's Tough to Be a Bug and if you want to pick one show, I would do Nemo (over Flights and Lion King). Do the Safari and the animal trails!

Festival of the Lion King is my favorite thing at AK. My top 3 would be FOTLK, the Nemo show, and the safari. My son was 7 the last time we went and Dinosaur scared him to pieces. I'd skip the Conservation Station and stick to the other parts of the park, but that's just me.

Skip Conservation Station, huge time eater upper - I swear it was for crowd control when the park was initially very small. We have never seen anything being done in the vet area, never even seen anyone in there - always looks like a "set". The few times I hear someone has seen something I always think they are so so lucky. It's a petting zoo and usually a character meet, I think Rafiki might be there at moment. I think the safari is a must and you will see lots of animals in a natural setting that any age appreciates. I would FP+ that for sure, you never know if the line will be do-able.

Pick your priorities and work with that and avoid backtracking if you can. Both shows are good and are different, both hold a lot so we never FP+ those. But they take lots of time, so in your case if you are want to do one I would pick the "movie" that you like the best and go with that one. Agree with PP the animal trails are great too. Don't waste time on table service.

For us in AK with a 5 year old the priorities are safari, festival of lion king, meeting some characters, triceratop spin, and the boneyard playground.
