We have been having a hard time deciding on what resort to choose for our next trip in June. It will be just myself and my 14 year old granddaughter.
We have stayed at the Poly twice and really liked it but are considering to try the Beach Club.
Our stay will be towards the end of June.
I know a lot of people say stay at the one that will be closest to the park you will visit the most. Well we will be visiting all the parks once and then plan to spend a couple days to just enjoy the resort and a day to go to Downtown Disney.
So which would you choose and why?

As you have stayed at the Polynesian twice, I'd say it's time to spread your wings and try something new! Not only will you be walking distance to EPCOT, but you'll also be closer to Disney Springs, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. You're really in the middle of everything which will cut your commute time down.

Beach Club! It will definitely be nice to change things up and experience a new resort! Plus it makes it even more exciting because you will be seeing something new :)

If you've already stayed at the Poly twice, I say give BC a try.

Just back from Beach Club. Here is what we love about it: rooms are plush and newly refurbished; you can walk to EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios; you can stroll the Boardwalk in the evening and enjoy the street entertainers, Stormalong Bay is an amazing and fun pool.

I say, give it a try!

I agree with everyone else -- give BC a try. I can't imagine not liking it -- especially since the rooms have just been fully refurbished. Everything just feels fresh and new at BC. Plus the walk around the boardwalk, the walk into Epcot, the walk or boat to HS = so much convenience!

I'm having the same dilemma, too. Last year we did a split stay between the two, and it was great, but we don't want to do a split stay again. Down deep I really want to stay at the Poly because we really do love everything about that resort but I keep reading some not so great reviews - lots of hair in pool, crowds, problems with rooms, etc. Those reviews are pushing me to the BC. The new rooms are gorgeous and we love SAB and the proximity to Epcot and DHS. What we don't like is the lack of quick service at BC; we don't really care for the Marketplace. So, you can see I'm torn, too. Thanks for posting this question so I can read everyone's responses.

You are welcome. I think I'm leaning towards BC. I have heard some negative reviews about the Poly also but I think it is because of all the work they are doing on it.

I think everyone is right , trying a new resort will be fun. We have never been in that area before so it will be all new for us.

Cant wait to swim in Stormalong Bay.

We stayed at the Poly a few times earlier this year and loved in. We gave the Boardwalk a try earlier this month and loved it too. Being able to walk or boat to 2 parks is great, and there is a lot to do in this area in the evening. :)

Looks like BC is winning on the vote! It does look like a really nice resort from all the pictures. The only thing I don't think we will like is having to book a standard view room because that is what the discount is for with the travel agency we use. I guess we can request near an elevator though. Since I'm pretty sure all the standard rooms are on the 2nd to 4th floors. We just don't like walking a long way to the food and pool. What does anyone suggest about making a request for a standard room?

I would request "near lobby." That way, you are near the food, drinks, and the doors leading out to the pool, boardwalk, and bus stop.

My DD's (ages 13 and 16) love Beach Club and SAB. We are also big fans of Epcot. Boardwalk is fun to walk around at night and there is mini golf at Fantasia (walking distance from BC). Also, ice cream from Beaches and Cream is yummy:-) Have fun!
