Loop question

Hi everyone. We are getting close to our departure date and I'm able to do online check in now. What are your thoughts and concerns about loop 1100. We watched you tube videos and like the looks of it. I need insider opinons of likes and dislikes.

We like the 1400 loop. It's kind of central to most things including the pool. Really, however, the question is so subjective. It really depends on what you value, how you camp, etc... Are you getting a Golf Cart? If so being close to the pool or the Boat Launch may not be an issue. What about comfort stations? (while not specifically a "Loop" question, it certainly can be a concern of which site IN the loop you want).

The type of site you also booked is a factor. Also what about pets? While Pets can technically be on ANY loop, they (Disney) would generally try to limit them to specific loops first.

Although I've never stayed in loop 1100, I have a favorable opinion of it and would like to try it sometime.

My Premium choice is 900 given how close it is to the Meadow Trading Post and pool. But 1100 in attractive because it's small (few sites) relatively speaking - only 24 sites and still has a Comfort Station (shared with 2100 a cabin loop behind it so the CS probably doesn't see much action).

It's not far from the Meadow Trading Post/Pool at all and is the closest loop (along with 1200 and 1300) for a short half-mile walk to the Outpost to catch busses to the theme parks other than MK and DTD. I'm not one to wait on busses and don't mind a walk (at least in the morning) and would just as soon walk from the 1100 entrance to the Outpost bus depot as stand around and wait for an internal bus somewhere.

Sites are Premium/fairly large and well spaced it seems. Spots along the back are close to a row of cabins (could be good or bad).

It has more plusses than minuses, 1100 does. IMO (worth what you paid for it) some loops are too exposed (600) or feel cramped (1400) despite its closeness to the campfire/movie spot. But different strokes for different folks.

Try it.

Thank you....we aren't worried about being close to anything and after looking at the videos it seems very spaced out and that's what we like. I'll let you know if we get it.

My Premium choice is 900
Based on our drive around last time, we're going to request 900 ourselves for our Sept. trip. Getting close, can't wait!

Our last trip we stayed in a full hookup, 1600, and it was just fine too. We drove around and looked at all the loops and decided we'd request 900 when we go down for our next trip.

Just finished 8 days in the 900 loop. Comfort stations were not crowded, very clean . The sites were spacious with easy access to the Meadows. This was our first trip in a premium site. Have always stayed in preferred. We hope to be back in the 900 loop for our November trip :D

We were in 1100 last summer and we found that loop to be very convenient to the Meadows Trading Post and the pool area. Still had to take an internal bus to Outpost to get to HS, AK, or EPCOT and took the internal bus to the Settlement area. The internal bus stop was nearby in front of the TP. Overall we really liked this location. I can't remember our site number but we backed up to the cabins on one of the cabin loops. It was a quiet area, at least during that time.

We booked 1500 for our Pop Up. The videos seemed to show everything being close enough and convenient.

If you booked a pop-up/tent site, you can get either 1500 or 2000 - I don't think they guarantee one of them. I love the location of 1500 and I hope to get that one too! I believe that you can request one when you do online check-in but I just wanted to put this out there just in case when you get there you get the other loop. 2000 does have it's own set of positives! Have a great trip!

All the loops seemed pretty equal to us. Location was key for us. We wanted to be in-between the pool/movie night area and the shuttle boat. It was perfect. :)

How far of a walk was it to the Boat Launch?

Sweet, Thanks Ed. I guess if we see a bus when we leave, we may go that route. All internal buses stop at the Settlement trading Post?

Yes they do if they are headed in the direction of the beach. Bama Ed
