7 in 7: Holiday Edition?

Just throwing it out maybe as a mini 7 in 7 you guys could go to the deluxe resorts and show their Christmas decorations?

I always see this topic come up on the boards and thought it would fulfill a need many people want to see plus it would be a fun interesting project as usually I dont get to hear/see the team around the holidays for your break!

Just throwing out a fun idea!
 
Didn't they do some videos of Xmas decorations in the last few years? I seem to remember watching some and fondly remembering my "in person memories" of the things I was seeing, since resort hopping @ the holidays is one of my fave things to do.

I'll keep it in mind even if it is just as a standalone video. Things get busy during the holidays with travel, DISapalooza or PCC and the holidays in general so it's always a tight squeeze trying to fit everything in!

maybe they could do it as a "best of" episode where Pete and Oliver (or whoever) give out their top 5 resorts for viewing Holiday decorations and just add in a little video or each selection (fully realize I am suggesting this with no idea how much effort it would take)
 
As I said before above, I LOVE going in Dec ( used to almost always go 1st or 2nd week, a.k.a. used to be "slow time") & touring resorts just to see holiday decorations - would do that a couple of days each trip, & never even go to parks most times those days, or do a mix of parks & resorts. So I would LOVE to see something like this - GREAT idea, @CampbellzSoup !!

I think a 7in7 is the wrong way to go...

There is one thing that is asked around here that I think does fit this. "What is going on for the holidays". I don't think anyone has ever put together a video showing what disney does for the december holidays and I think it would be very welcomed. not exactly a 7in7 but there isn't that many non-park things for the holidays to show off and would be nice to have a video to point people too.
 
My wife and I do this about every other Christmas trip ourselves. Go out and spend an afternoon hitting all of the deluxe resorts just to see their decorations. It's a great way to enjoy a relaxing day while at WDW. I would love to see this from the DIS crew since Craig and the gang do such an amazing job with this sort of thing.
 
I love the idea! Kathy is a must for that vlog.

A compilation of just the resort decorations would be great to watch. It could be broken up into the Epcot area (4 resorts) , Magic Kingdom area (3 resorts) and then throw together WL and AKL and maybe the Four Season's? Even if you spend 10 minutes walking around each resort it would be worth watching!

BTW SorcererHeidi I remember those years when there used to be a slow season. We used to go the first full week in December for YEARS and everything was a walk on back then. Seriously, a crowd level of 1 or 2 no longer exists.

Kudos to CampbellzSoup on his perseverance with this project!

Since you mentioned it.............I haven't seen nor heard anything concerning DISapalooza for 2017..........its an odd year doesn't that normally mean DISapalooza?
