Rental car pick up time change

We have booked a flight and a rental car for 10am but I am thinking of switching the flight to arrive at 1pm (this is for arrival at Tampa for 2 beach days) and am wondering if do will I also have to change the car rental pick up times?
The rates are much higher for the rental cars right now and I don't want to lose my rate.

First off they give you a grace period to pick up the car rental as flights do get delayed so if you don't want to do anything you will be alright. If you want to be exact about your reservation I know for a fact when using Alamo or National you can click on "modify/cancel" reservation and make the necessary adjustments. If your just talking about a time difference it won't change the price (when doing it thru the modify/cancel section) and before you save the adjusted reservation you have the option to just keep your old one.

Thanks for this info.
I don't know why I didn't think to modify! I was just looking at booking a new reservation and if I put in the morning time vs the afternoon pickup time it changes the rate by about $40! That just seems crazy that it costs more to pick up at 1pm than at 10am. But I will either modify or just leave it alone. Thanks.

Just be sure to check the grace period for the company you are using. I remember one when I was looking only had an hour before your reservation was no longer guaranteed while another was six hours. I was not comfortable with the one hour so I did not go with that (sorry, I can't remember which company that was but I think it was one of the offsite ones at MCO).

I tried to modify to drop an earlier time and it would be $31 more? I was told to not modify, What I would do is if you put a flight in, change it to the later flight time and call the Orlando desk to alert that you will be arriving later. I had two ressies, I went to cancel one after I arrived that I didn't want as I got a better deal at Alamo. Our flight was an hour late. Alamo kept my ressie, but Dollar had it out of the system all ready.
