Bummer about the price increase on the AP (the DLR ones really seemed to go up by quite a bit). Sorry to hear about the car accident but glad you have a back up plan
I saw a bout the Mahaloween event and it looked pretty cool! (just couldn't justify the cost for a "trip on a budget" and with having the 3 kids). I did call to see if Trader Sams is still open to other guests during that time and they indicated the event is actually out on the lawn and more "presented by Trader Sam's". What are your thoughts on the special tiki-mug for it? Reading some threads seems big time fans are not happy with them, but I think they are kinda cool

We are on the road! 270 miles to go.
Thanks to some very helpful friends in California, we were able to secure passes at the previous rate. Savings that will certainly help with some of the splurges we have planned for this trip.
As for the tiki mug, I like it. It is a good blend of tiki and Halloween. The event is held on the grounds and hosted by Trader Sam's. We coukdnt justify the cost of the whole family going, and frankly it isn't of interest to our young girls. Thankfully, I have an understanding spouse who was willing to take the kids that night so I can check it out.
