ROFR Thread September-December 2015 *PLEASE USE NEW THREAD*

So, just hit a bump in the road with my OKW contract. Got an email from broker that the property had a second deed, which was just in one of the sellers names. They need us to resign the original contract which now reflects just one seller and then send it back to Disney to ask them for a waiver. Anyone else ever have this happen? I'm just hoping this is a formality and not a second chance for them to decide to take it back!!
Did they specify what kind of waiver?

Usually, once they pass on ROFR, they can't decide to take it back after all. It could be the underwriters needing the correct paperwork in order to approve the transfer. I wouldn't worry :)
 
Should have posted earlier this week, but found out 10/5 we passed ROFR:

All right everyone, I've removed all data older than 40 days from the "waiting" list. We don't want to mess with Cap'n Robb's awesome stats :smooth:

I clarified with the broker. She said it does not need to go through rofr again, but just back to Disney so they can issue a new waiver with the name change and then title company can proceed with the closing documents. Shouldn't be any delays with closing which should be on or before December 1st. I'm in no hurry with that part anyway, no plans for the points (for now). Although once they go in my account, I'm sure I will find a use for them!!:)

Thanks - I initially provided all info regarding our BWV add on contract about a month ago. However, it appears the thread has changed so I'm unsure where my original info is.

After looking at the data on the first page of this thread, it seems the longer it takes ... the better chance of ROFR being exercised. I'm on day 18. Fingers crossed!
