I'm thinking of going there instead of Hoop de doo. It will be my son and myself. My son LOVES attention and talking a whole lot. Will he like it?

I think he will, but definately don't do what we did - book in off season around 8:30pm - we were the only ones there, so no fun and games stuff really - our waiter tried, but it was awkward and I said don't worry - relax we are your last table of the night. The food was really good! We are picky eaters and loved the food!

Thanks for the tip! I'll make sure to be there at a popular time

Try to have your son order something you need ketchup for. He'll love it! The milkshakes there were so good. I only had one, but my family definitely took advantage of the all you care to eat part of the milkshakes.

Has anyone had the campfire chocolate cake thing there? I was wondering how it was. It looks good and gooey but I'm more of a brownie, not cake person and don't like dark chocolate. I was considering going there just to try it though.

Apples and oranges. HDDR is fun but MBBBQ is better for kids. If it's all about the kid he will love WC.

Good food, good fun, your child will enjoy. My child loved the whole experience at age 4. We will be returning this fall.

We've been once and like it a lot. Loved the antics by the servers, and really enjoyed the food. The only reason we haven't been back is we don't like to take the time away from the parks that it takes to go to a resort to eat.

This restaurant was a ton of fun for me and my hubby and our 22 month old, but was not so much fun for our older son that is on the spectrum. He was very overwhelmed with the loudness and the games and to him it was very chaotic. He kept it together for dinner and he ate his meal, and then we let him go and play with the lincoln logs while everyone else finished (we were seated at a table by the front so I could still keep my eyes on him at the lincoln logs. On a more happier note we chose this place for my hubby and my 10th anniversary dinner, lol. We wanted to go somewhere fun and light hearted. They did a whole announcement that it was our 10th anniversary and then they made my hubby sing "you are my sunshine" to me. I was so embarrassed, lol, I told the hubby not to say anything but he had to open his big mouth, LOL. But it was all in good fun and the kids loved seeing daddy sweat like that, lol. It was a lot of fun. I don't think we will go here in the future bc it was really difficult for my older son, but it was still a ton of fun!

Very fun, agree about times. I went for breakfast and also a slow lunch. The busier the restaurant, the more fun. It also seemed the more people at your table, the more fun. You get to choose participation or not with a double sided red/green card. Sounds like you son will want green!

Took my daughter to WC last trip and loved ir (will be going back ). Fun atmosphere, great food, and perfect for kids!

I have always wanted to try this place, but I hate attention so we always skip it! LOL! I wish there was a way to eat there and "opt out" of the fun. I would love to watch what goes on, just don't want to be a part of it. kwim?

I feel the same way! However, we're giving it a try this year because I've read they now use a coaster type indicator on your table that lets your server know whether you'd like to participate in the fun or just observe (green side up for participating and red side up for observing the fun). Hope this is still true!

Ok here is my negative (both with and without kids ) We did not like it at all. We ate dinner there and breakfast and found it incredibly noisy and the food very mediocre or less. Nothing was hot and barely luke warm. Yes, the wait staff is 'performing' constantly but frankly none of us liked it. Now Hoop de do was a different story. Kids LOVED it (after they thawed out a bit a saw they could enjoy and participate too) and when then like something so do we. They loved playing the washbords, loved walking around the floor in a snakelike chain. Also food was tasty and hot. We have been there 4 times now. Very expensive but a lot of fun for everyone.

It will be myself and DD20- we are relatively plain eaters so, the menu and all you can enjoy skillet are right up our alley. I also am all for the unlimited milkshakes!!! I wound up shaving a day off of our trip and I dropped Ragland Road ( as that was scheduled dinner for that day). I went to RR 3 1/2 years ago and wanted to go again. Never been to WC but have been wanting to try it. This would also give us a chance to check out the resort. We are there the weekend before Christmas and have free dining. Still debating switching this one up.....
