Woo hoo! It's back!

I really enjoyed the first show and am looking forward to seeing the celebrities dance.

I can't wait for the regular programmes to start. And It Takes Two (I hope Ian will be there

)

It feels like we are on a countdown to Christmas now that Strictly has started.

I loved Helen and Ainsley. Katie was better than I expected. Sad that Carol seems to be the "celebrity that stands still while her partner dances around her" this year. And I have very mixed feelings about Peter - great dance but isn't that what he does for a living?

I'm very much looking forward to It Takes Two this week

Im keeping my options open before trying to pick a winner and see how they do on week 2 when hopefully nerves will be a bit better :dancer:

I thought a lot of them did really well for the first week, and I also loved Helen and Ainsley.

I really enjoyed this weekend's shows. I was a bit shocked that Jamelia was in the dance off so early on. Iwan must have known he on thin ice as he was taking desperate measures by baring his chest in week 2 (a few too many tattoos for my liking!)

Movie week next week which often brings in some Disney tunes.

I think she might be right. Iwan wasn't at all good but he also didn't have a large fan base that would vote for him anyway.

I really like Anton's partner Katie Durham, I thought she looked and danced beautifully on Saturday and Im so pleased he has been teamed up this year with somebody that looks as though she can dance :goodvibes

So happy to see this thread! I have really enjoyed the first two weeks. I think the right person went home first. My money is on Jay to win, I think he is really good. Excited for movie week, and Halloween week is always good as well for the costumes and make up!

Wow! Jay was amazing!

I was disappointed by Ainsley but he was still entertaining.

Not sure if Anton's choreography skills will be able to compete with those of the younger dancers.

Anyway, great show tonight.

Got to love Movie Week.

The weaker ones are beginning to fall by the wayside.

Daniel seemed such a nice person but not the best dancer. (As he is a favourite of my mum I was shocked to find out he is onoy 1 month older than I am!)

But Anton was in is element - I really enjoyed his dance, and Jamelia

Oh dear, I haven't watched the results show yet but I know Ainsley has gone

I know he wasn't going to win but he was my favourite.

Oh, well. Halloween special next week - always a fun show.

Yes I loved Ainsley as well, he is such a lovely guy.

Im loving the girl from Eastenders, her and Jay are very good. Also the girl from call the midwife, can you tell Im hopeless with names.

Funny that all three of those have had some form of dance training. They are the finalists for me

As always, I enjoyed the Halloween show. The weaker dancers are standing out more than ever and I'm sure it's just their personalities and popularity from other shows that are keeping them in.

I absolutely loved team GG this week but I have had enough of Brendan and his whining at any criticism from the judges. At least the other couples listen and put things right next time - GG being a very good example of this.

I'm not sure which programme Georgia is from but she is my new favourite

I cant believe that Kelly was in the dance off the other week!, Well I think they are rightly voting out the weaker ones now, as much as I like Jeremy it was time for him to go, however poor Jamilia, the public are obviously not taking to her? Peter had a fabulous charlston last week and it was my fav dance of the season so far. Still cant call it on who will win, I think it will be very close. :dancer:

I think Jamelia and Katie will be the next two to go. Then, as Sue says, it is very close between the others. I think it may just be the luck of the chosen dance as to who goes next.

I did prefer the early days when there were only two dance styles each week as it was much easier to compare dancers.

From this week's performance I think Peter should have gone.

It all seems to have gone very quickly this year. I'm sad that Ian Waite isn't one of the Christmas dancers although I did see him on Children in Need.
