*The Secret to September* 2015 TR COMPLETED 3/26/16

Following along! Looking forward to seeing your different Disney bound outfits!

Some People!

When we arrived to check in a couple was yelling at the hostess about their being a 90 minute wait for those without reservations. I feel for the guy; three hungry kid and no table service available, but in the same breath how do you travel some place and not do your research? Also, how is this the hostesses fault?! Anywho, we were seated almost immediately. Our server was nice enough, but man was she useless! All three of us girls have waited tables, so we are a fairly forgiving bunch. This girl spent more of her time chatting to her co-worker than at our table, not cool. Especially when she kept forgetting stuff; my drink, mom’s coffee, mayo.

The food was yummy, but nothing exceptional. I’d skip it next trip. Although I’m pretty sure my fella would love it; the decor inside is right up his alley. I sent him a photo of the menu because he is a huge fan of Muka; the artist the menus are reminiscent of.

After lunch our initial plan was to grab a spot for the parade, but we had a bit more time than we anticipated, so we headed back into fantasyland for our first ride on the SDMT!! What a fun ride!!! I loved it!

We used another FP here (I’m telling you we had tons) and good thing too; stand by was like 2 hours! After our ride we went back to Main Street to grab a seat for the parade!

I had been waiting for this parade since the change was first announced. I’m not a huge parade fan; I mean, that is primo ride time! But this one looked so stinkin cool. We found a spot right outside of the ice cream parlor next to the Plaza. It was on a corner beside one of the designated walkways. We stood there, for about thirty minutes making friends with the little boy behind us. Then, not 5 minutes before the parade starts, a family of 6 wiggles their way into our little corner and their kids stand directly in front of this little boy. I was mad.

You wanna stand in front of me kid? Fine; I’m taller than you it's not a problem. But don't bump out the sweet little boy whose family had the sense to come early and grab a good spot! UGH! We made a mini wall around the little boy and eventually the family crossed over towards Casey’s to “ride Space Mountain.” I said nothing.

The parade was awesome!!! I have no pictures cause I stood there in utter awe of everything, phone in hand ready to shoot. I could watch this parade every day and not be sick of it. LOVED IT! Once we waved good bye to the parade we followed it down Main Street because we had a very important FP; Mickey Mouse!! First, some business, of the rather unpleasant sort.

Kat and I were having trouble seeing out PPP so we went to guest relations. Not quickly and rather rudely we learned that since Kat had her main gate pass attached to her as well as our trip and PPP she took were automatically linked to the MM we bought. She was very upset cause this meant she had already used the PP and it had now expired. I calmly asked if there was any way we could get some help fixing this. The young woman helping us was very nice and got her manager. He explained that since Kat had downloaded a photo the pass was activated and this couldn't be reversed.

Kat explained that she didn't understand the PP system and had mistakenly done this. The manager, in a very friendly voice replied "well how did you think you were paying for those downloads?" I'm sorry, what? I waited for Kat to flip out in anger but I think she was embarrassed and this guys tone was deceiving cause he sounded so pleasant. Kat needed to get some air so mom and I delt with the situation. We ended up buying a new PP but at a discounted rate.

My poor sister was a mess, but that was all about to change; we had a date with the mouse himself! Kat secured this FP for us and boy were we excited!! Now I knew Mickey would talk to us, and I figured Kat knew as well, but mom for sure had no idea. I thought she’d be so surprised, and she was, but KAt was like “oh my god, he talks!!” She had no clue! Here I was all psyched that mom would be so surprised and it’s my CM little sister that's totally blown away. We were all psyched. I mean look at these grown children in this photo:

Mickey did a magic trick for us, it was adorable. After our wonderful meet with the Mouse himself, we needed a break. We headed out the Main Gates towards the monorail. Wouldn’t you know it that just as I’m saying how I’m concerned that we haven’t been assigned a rom yet the text comes through! Timing is everything. Quickly enough we found our car and were back at POR and in our room. I have no photos cause I literally plopped down on a bed and stayed there until we had to go back to MK for our evening FPs and ADR.

We needed some rest!

Disney Wins

We spent about an hour in the room, just resting and relaxing. We had a few FPs for the late afternoon and our ADR was at 8:05 PM. At some point (I think after Mine Train) we switched out a 4:15 FP at BTMRR for one with Belle at like 6. This time worked much better for us cause we were able to actually rest at the hotel. Well, not all of us, the more Kat thought about it the more angry she was at what the guy at GR had told her. I don't feel that what he said is appropriate to say to a paying guest, CM or not. We handled it and brought it up to a GR servos or after our trip.

Moving right along...

We headed back to MK. I really wanted to spend some time in NFL, I was a little antsy to see it all. As soon as we were back in the Kingdom he headed straight for ETwB. What a cute little show. We didn't participate in the show, just observed, and since we used a FP we didn't wait in line. So I have no photos...
Onward to go Under the Sea! Quick photo stop:

Super proud of that bad boy; taken on my iPhone!

Mama dancing in line. She's too cute.
This was a cute little ride, nothing exceptional. I was not a fan of the lack of presence of Ursula's down fall. I mean to me it's pretty epic to die from being stabbed by a ship. Kinda felt like it ought to be better represented in the ride.
Here's where things started to unravel at my house. My loving hubby was watching out DD, alone. I had suggested he have his sister come stay, but he was determined to do this. Well, Elora (our DD) was having a rough night. She was cutting a tooth and wanted nothing to do with her daddy. He panicked and started texting me that I needed to come home.
Mean while I'm walking into Cinderella Castle...

Don't touch the art mom!
I figured he'd be ok once she went to sleep, so I sent a reassuring text and he didn't reply. Ok, he's got this, I thought...
We came in, and we're quickly in line to meet Cindy. She was cute, but I was very distracted.

Before we went upstairs I reminded our hostess of my special request; a window seat. See Kat had never been to CRT. I'd been a few time with my mom and once with my dad, bit sure why Kat never came with... With that in mind I timed our dinner so we could eat dessert and watch Wishes from inside the castle!! We walked upstairs and our request was granted!

In that last one they're laughing cause I dropped my brand new phone that had no case. Admittedly I fumbled it like a fool, but it wasn't broken!!
Dinner was nice, our server was good, and the princesses were cute.

I wasn't there at all! My honey was having a hard time and I seriously thought this was the end of the trip for me. I was planning on flying home the next morning. After essentially talking my fella off a limb, DD went to sleep and he decided she would spend a few days with her abuela and her tia. Phew! And Disney magic being what it is, I put down the phone and this happened:

It was perfect. The meal was ok, even without all my personal drama. Not worth the price at all, but for a once in a blue moon experience, every princess should watch the fireworks in Cinderella Castle. We headed straight out of the park, back to the hotel, showers and bed time! We had an early morning at AK the next day!

I love all the pics of you girls and your mom. Makes me want to do a girls trip with my kiddos one day!

Sorry the end of the day was a little stressful with texts from home, but so glad everything worked out so you could stay for your trip!

I'm glad that you didn't have to fly home the next day. That must have been hard to enjoy dinner with all that drama. But I love the way the fireworks came just at the right time. :)

this is so fun! you guys just seem to be the bast and closest family!!! just love you all together.. I was going to remark on your lack of pictures. then you busted out your beautiful beast castle! That's gorgeous!

Poor little boy! people are just rude aren't they?!?! glad they had the idea and moved!

Love your ears! Too bad your sister's Oswald ears didn't work out.

IASW, I am a huge fan too! Such a classic!

Major score on all your FP, sounded like you really needed them with how busy it was.

I cannot stand people who are rude and want to shove their way in front of people who have been waiting in their spot. It's like seriously what makes you God?! Can't stand it! Glad they left even if it was in the wrong direction, lol. Glad you enjoyed the parade, I agree it is something I could watch everyday and not tire of it.

Sorry about the PP :( That's such a major bummer, good thing you were able to get a new one at a discount.

Nothing like a visit to the boss to cheer everyone up, the pictures of you all so happy are priceless!

The pic of your mom dancing in line was super cute.

So sorry about your poor DD and DH having a rough night. That's no fun and I've totally been there, not in another state on vacation but out and had to come home. Glad DD was able to sleep and DH had a plan for the rest of the time.

The princess pics are cute, but I totally agree, my head would not be there enjoying the moment.

How incredible to be viewing Wishes from the castle, so glad your request was honored!

I love all the pics of you girls and your mom. Makes me want to do a girls trip with my kiddos one day!

Do it! Since my folks separated when I was a little girl most of my trips were with mom OR dad, never really both. Each type is great fun, but there is something extra special about just mom and the girls. I'd totally do a girls trip again, maybe even bring DD on that one! Heehee.

Sorry the end of the day was a little stressful with texts from home, but so glad everything worked out so you could stay for your trip!

It was a rough moment, but my fella handled things pretty well for a daddy! It was a relief when he finally called to say all was right in the world.

Glad to hear you didn't have to cut your trip short! Enjoying your trip!

Me too! I'd have been super sad to have to come home so early, but I totally would have if he'd asked me to... Thanks so much for following along!

I'm glad that you didn't have to fly home the next day. That must have been hard to enjoy dinner with all that drama. But I love the way the fireworks came just at the right time. :)

It was rough. I knew that DD would be fine, my concern was for DH! It's just that Disney magic; right when you need it something wonderful happens.

this is so fun! you guys just seem to be the bast and closest family!!! just love you all together.. I was going to remark on your lack of pictures. then you busted out your beautiful beast castle! That's gorgeous!

Thank you! I do love those ladies a bunch, and we had such fun!,

I know I was slacking on photos this trip. Partially cause I didn't bring the camera camera, but also I was wrapped up in looking and very thing I just plain forgot!

Poor little boy! people are just rude aren't they?!?! glad they had the idea and moved!

Right?! I was shocked, and Kat does not play with stuff like that; she mom will totally call a stranger out on that kinda stuff.

Love your ears! Too bad your sister's Oswald ears didn't work out.

I know, I was sad for her; they were cute. But I'm glad they were nice enought to do the exchange for us.

IASW, I am a huge fan too! Such a classic!

Right?! So many people hate it, cause of the song I'm sure, but it's just so adorable! And I sing the song all the time!

Major score on all your FP, sounded like you really needed them with how busy it was.

We really did! We would have missed a lot of stuff if we didn't hVe the special FPs from Kat.

It's the worst, but especially to a kid. That parade was spectacular! I have been watching videos of it with DD and now the hubs is excited about it too!!

Sorry about the PP :( That's such a major bummer, good thing you were able to get a new one at a discount.

It was unpleasant, but it was over quickly enough!

Nothing like a visit to the boss to cheer everyone up, the pictures of you all so happy are priceless!

He was so cute!

The pic of your mom dancing in line was super cute.

She is definitely the biggest kid of us three!

So sorry about your poor DD and DH having a rough night. That's no fun and I've totally been there, not in another state on vacation but out and had to come home. Glad DD was able to sleep and DH had a plan for the rest of the time.

Teething is hard, as you well know! I was very proud of hubs for overcoming the stress, he did very well!

The princess pics are cute, but I totally agree, my head would not be there enjoying the moment.

Oh yeah, super "school picture" smiles in those shots!

How incredible to be viewing Wishes from the castle, so glad your request was honored!

Seriously, if you guys get back to WDW you should totally do it. It's killer expensive ($220 for us) and the food is ok, but that view is spectacular.

I'm working on an update, but I won't post it until tomorrow; DD has two new teeth coming through so all she wants is her mama. Sleep has been hard to come by.

Ttfn friends. Thanks for sticking around!:thumbsup2

Adventure is out there!
Day two was our AK day. I may have been more excited about this morning than our MK day… Let me explain; mama loves coasters and she had never ridden Everest! Not to mention AK is fantastic, I adore this park; quickly becoming my second fave, especially with all the closures at HS.

We woke up fairly early this morning, I think about 6 am. We all got dressed and then headed down to the food court to grab some snacks/breakfast and coffee. We had gone down the evening prior to get our third mug so today we were ready! A quick drive and we were at the AK! I had known that the Oasis was opened earlier than the rest of the park so we went a little extra early. Once the gates were open we went in and we went left.

We were headed towards KS but first a few photos:

Wildest animals at the park!

Today we went bounding as Mowgli, Baloo and Sher Khan! Mama got a lot of compliments on her cure Sher Khan shirt. I know the opening here isn’t as big as the one at MK, but I just love the birds. I think it’s so neat that they fly so low! Once our beautiful parrot friends had flown back to their perches, we were let into the rest of the park. There were two groups of people; left side for KS right side for Everest, we went left. We had an early FP for KS, but we were going to try to go Stand-by first, no dice though; wait was already 45 minutes when we got back there. This was starting to bug me, I mean we had FPs but I really felt like there were a ton of people there.

We went to try and walk through the trails in Asia, but there were closed for a half a hour. So we walked some trails in the Oasis, saw a few animals

and then stopped for a snack, but only after hitting ever PPP we saw on the way:

After our quick snack of a caramel apple (yum!) and some kind of sweet treat for Kat it was time for our FP. The line for return was HUGE, backed out into the market place streets. What the heck? We waited about 15 minutes (no biggie) and then we were told the scanners weren’t working. Kat was appalled at how poorly organized the CMs were; when she worked the FP in HS they had a better plan in place for such occasions. It was really funny to see her so peeved that these CMs weren’t doing things properly.

We were finally in on our tour, and we got front row seats!! Our tour guide was adorable, and had the best jokes and facts. Since we are such goobers we were answering all her questions and laughing at her jokes. It was fun because it was like a live animal version of the jungle cruise, really she was great! Not a ton of photos here, again I was ready but I was too excited to actually take any!

Once our tour was over we gave our great guide a thank you note and headed out. We crossed the park, in record time really, because we had another FP that hour for Dinosaur! When we came to WDW 10 years ago Dinosaur was one of the few rides that were at AK, we rode it and all of us were scared out of our minds. The photo was great, but we never received it! We had done a front of park pick-up, but it wasn’t ready when we left so they offered to ship it to our home and we never got it. We never really followed up so that photo exists only in our memory… Good thing we get this gem to replace it!

Scared, we were scared. We all knew the stupid Dino would be there we all knew what side and we still cowered at the animatronics animal like little babies. I loved it!

We walked out and went to go meet Donald!

We had a special date with Donald because he is a friend of Kat’s, or so we thought (we got the schedule wrong). It was still a fun little meet. We walked past DinoLand USA; mom doesn’t like the spinney rides so we skipped the area. Then onto our first of many rides on Everest!

Man do I love this ride. We waited to ride in the very front; I wanted mom to really see that track end. She totally thought there was a giant drop coming so when we went backwards she let out this awesome “woo-hoo!” It was awesome, needless to say, we loved it!

After a HUGE lunch and some delish desserts we had almost no time before out next Fp FotLK! None of us had seen this show before so we were all really excited. And I have zero pictures. I know, I’m the worst, but I really wanted to watch the show. It was cute, and I loved the two performers who were the birds for Can you Feel the Love Tonight. I’d watch it again, but maybe not with a FP.

We left the FotLK and headed over to our next FP It’s Tough to be a Bug!

I love this little show. Kat knew it was 4D and she kept saying she hates when things crawl on her feet, but I assured her nothing would crawl on her feet, hehee, I know I’m bad. She was not happy with this show, not sure mom was either, but I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed watching them squirm!

We did some of the trails, and spent a LOT of time with the Gorillas. We met a CM who was very knowledgeable about the family structure of the animals and he had a ton of information to share. It was very cool to see a CM so psyched on his job. I love these animals; I could watch them for hours.

THis poor boy was crying, like a little kitty, cause he missed his girl. She was in heat (I don't know the term for big cats) so they took her out of the sanctuary. It was really sad, and really cute!

The photo isn’t great but you can see one of the baby gorillas in these

We headed back towards Asia. On the way we stopped at the Bird Show (I can’t remember the name). I LOVE this show. Again, no photos (I know). But the show was so cool. And when the bird came out to get the dollar from a volunteer Kat was the volunteer!! It was so cool!! It was getting late now, about 4:30, we were all kinds sleepy, but we thought we’d head over and ride Everest once more time before the park closed.

That’s right! We rode three more time!! I adore this coaster; it’s really such great fun. We headed out of the park and towards our car, we had a 6:15 ADR at Whispering Canyon to get too!

I sent a few of these back to my hubs; told him we should totally stay here for DDs first trip, he actually agreed, but then he said he wanted to stay at the one the train goes through (the Contemporary). What a rookie. But that was exciting news; I am already looking at prices, and gasping at how high they are!

[/URL
]

Any who. We were excited for this meal, but once we sat down, none of us was terribly hungry, so we agreed to just get something little and share. Yeah right! One look at the all you car eat enjoy family meal and we were in! Our server was so cute, and we played along, of course. She yelled at us, we yelled at her. She sat down at our table with us, she threw napkins, there was a parade and we twirled our napkins! It was so much fun. I am very grateful, however, that none of us is a ketchup fan, but watching other tables ask for it was hilarious.

This is our left overs:

[/URL
]

See, I told you we weren’t that hungry. But for some reason no one ate the chicken…? Then this was a joke, “eat it, come on, someone has to!” You know how silly girls get.

Fully stuffed and ready to just die of exhaustion, we went back to the room. Then we hit the hot tub, had a cocktail and went to bed! Next day was our MNSSHP day, we were tired and knew we’d need rest for the party, so no alarms were set this night.

That’s all for now guys! I hope you’re all doing well!

TTFN!

Love you report! You all are so cute! That photo of you all on Everest pretending to be bored cracked me up. My oldest friend is a huge Disney fan and she and her sister always compete to see who can look the most disinterested in the photo on thrill rides.

Can't wait to read more!

What a great day! Whispering canyon is definitely on our list to try. I will be making one of the kids ask for ketchup! I'm glad you're all having such a great time!! How fun riding EE so many times!!

I'm loving this! You guys are so cute! I can't believe you ate 3 table service meals in 1 day! I can barely do a TS and QS in the same day!

Sorry they were so mean to your sister about PP. That's not cool, CM or not. You're right, she was a paying guest for this trip and should have been treated as such!

Which area were you in at POR? Just wondering since we were there right before you. We LOVED Alligator Bayou.

Your ride photos on EE and Dinosaur are priceless. I was giggling looking at them.

That poor tiger. He wanted his lady!

Great photo of you three with your claws out! Love you Disney Bound choices today!

I like how you all hit up all the PP, you guys look like you have so much fun with it!

Bummer that KS was so crowded and disorganized, but glad you got front row seats and a great guide!

HAHA that Dinosaur ride pic is fabulous, glad you got to have a redo.

Awe, that's so cool that your mom loved Everest so much!

Yay for a good time at Tusker House and cute pictures!

I agree, I love the bird part in FOTLK too!

Very cool bat photo!

How neat that Kat got to be a volunteer for Flights of Wonder! I wanted to see that show, but we never made it.

Everest 3 times, you go girls! Awesome pics!

Your Tink magic shot is so sweet!

Whispering Canyon looks like such a fun time, bummer you weren't too hungry, but looks like you didn't do too bad!

Firstly, I am so sorry for being such a terrible DISer!! My job has been crazy busy and with Halloween just around the corner our little sweat shop has been in full swing. I have a reply all set up, just gotta get the photos added and get it on here; easier said than done as you well know! First, replies!

*i am on the cell phone so bare with me.

I'm loving this! You guys are so cute! I can't believe you ate 3 table service meals in 1 day! I can barely do a TS and QS in the same day!

We paid for it, and not financially. We were so stuffed at the end of this trip. I have never eaten like that in my life! Free Dining was the promo so we used it to its fullest extent...

Sorry they were so mean to your sister about PP. That's not cool, CM or not. You're right, she was a paying guest for this trip and should have been treated as such!

Right?! She was more embarrassed than anything else, which made me so mad. But it was one tiny moment, nothing we wanted to dwell on.

Which area were you in at POR? Just wondering since we were there right before you. We LOVED Alligator Bayou.

We were in the Bayou! Building 16. I requested that area; the mansions seemed too fancy for my blood. The Bayou was so cool! And so Floridian; the greenery was beautiful.

Your ride photos on EE and Dinosaur are priceless. I was giggling looking at them.

We had way too much fun with the ride photos. That alone made MM worth every penny.

That poor tiger. He wanted his lady!

It was so sad!! He missed his girl.

Great update! Looks like a ton of fun!

Thanks for sticking around!!

Great photo of you three with your claws out! Love you Disney Bound choices today!

Thank you!! We had such fun getting dress up every day.

I like how you all hit up all the PP, you guys look like you have so much fun with it!

We were not gonna miss a single one. We met some who were really fun too!

Bummer that KS was so crowded and disorganized, but glad you got front row seats and a great guide!

HAHA that Dinosaur ride pic is fabulous, glad you got to have a redo.

Me too!! That ride scares me every time!

Awe, that's so cool that your mom loved Everest so much!

She was so cute this trip; the biggest kid in the group!

Yay for a good time at Tusker House and cute pictures!

The food was delicious and the characters spent some good time with everyone.

I agree, I love the bird part in FOTLK too!

It was a neat show.

Very cool bat photo!

Thanks! I love the bats.

How neat that Kat got to be a volunteer for Flights of Wonder! I wanted to see that show, but we never made it.

It's easy to skip; there is a ton of stuff to do at AK. It's so cool though!

Everest 3 times, you go girls! Awesome pics!

Your Tink magic shot is so sweet!

I love that one, I had it printed!

Whispering Canyon looks like such a fun time, bummer you weren't too hungry, but looks like you didn't do too bad!
