Anyone Going During Christmas?

We are there 14-23 December:thumbsup2

I will be wearing my custom Dis Pink MagicBand skin :goodvibes

Unfortunately not Bill, we will be in Dublin, Ireland.
Have you been before at that time of year? We have been 5 times Xmas thru New Year, crazy busy but amazing time to visit.

We'll be there from the 12th-26th. First time we haven't been in late May - early July. I'm very excited but a little worried about the possibility of being cold!

We have been the last three Decembers and you often get a couple of cold days where you need jeans and coats.

We don't swim - even the warmest we have found are too cold for us but I know other Brits do the water parks (I only do them in 90+)!

It is usually great park touring weather :thumbsup2

You can get anything from below freezing to 80 degrees, no matter how much research you do you will not know til it gets here.
The first Xmas we spent out there was 2000, absolutely freezing every day, had to de-ice car, buy fleeces, hats, wearing socks on our hands under the gloves etc. Other 4 times not as bad but still the odd cold spell, I remember Xmas 2004 getting out of the heated pool at Hilton DTD to find no towels, we were stood there frozen solid, DS had to run into the hotel to find towels.
Had some great hot days at Xmas but just go prepared for all weather & temps.

Even early december last year we got nights less than 10 degree.

Deffo pack for all weathers!

We are going 14th Dec - 28th Dec. First time for Christmas we usually go May or September. We are doing 10 days at WDW then 4 night cruise on The Dream starting 24th Dec. Very excited! Pleased to meet yoir aquanticance. Flying from Gatters with VA. you?

We are flying out of LGW on 16th December staying at OKW for 8 nights, before boarding the Disney Dream on 24th Dec for 4 nights. ( yes the same cruise as our good friend Paula ^^^^^!) After the cruise we are staying at AoA for 2 nights before flying home on 30th December.

We went for Christmas in 2012. We had a few cold days in the middle of the holiday, but otherwise it was amazing! We spent Christmas day at MK. It was rammed but totally worth it! If we weren't going to be on the cruise this year we would definitely be at MK on Christmas day again! :goodvibes

Claire :)

Us.......we've been at Christmas for the last five years and love it! We've experienced very cold weather but in the main it's been shorts and T shirts with a jumper for the evening. Last year we were sitting around the pool for several afternoons. It's our favourite time to visit - we hit MK early on Christmas morning and leave after parade at lunchtime.

December weather is mad. We had hats and winter coats and swimming in the same fortnight. I wish we were going to be there but sadly not this year :(

We've will be there for a couple days the week leading up to Christmas post our Merry Time Cruise on the Fantasy!
Not normally a December person but with the Rugby World Cup currently on and DH and I both volunteers we were going nowhere.
Looking forward to seeing the Osborne lights for one last night and Candlelight Processional for the first time since I worked as an IP cast member in 2004!
