BOG Breakfast as a solo

Okay - just ate at BOG solo for breakfast this past Monday. I pre-ordered my meal.

I ordered the Eggs Florentine - and I recommend it. It was BIG (and yummy). They do give you a full pastry platter. The platter was a croissant, chocolate croissant, two mini muffins (blueberry and bran with raisins), and a cinnamon roll. I could not finish it all - too much food. I highly recommend bringing a plastic bag so you can take the pastries you don't eat with you.

With the pre-ordered meal, the whole experience didn't take me long - maybe 30 minutes since I wasn't lingering over a cup of coffee (I got a chocolate milk). I literally just ate and left.

It's probably the best value for a solo since you get the same pastries as you would if you were a couple!

I'll definitely plan this one again.

So glad you posted this! I'm doing a BOG solo breakfast in December and have been really excited about it. But this makes me even more excited. And great tip on taking a bag with you for the extras. I wouldn't have thought to do that.

Thanks so much for sharing! Glad you had a great experience!

Had breakfast here in August and have booked it again for my Dec solo trip, can't wait!

Yay! Thanks for posting about this. I will be eating at BOG on 12/8 during my first solo trip! I was thinking of bringing a ziploc to bring the pastries back to the hotel because there is no way I would finish them. I hope that wouldn't look too tacky..

I will be there on the 8th with my ziploc bag also:rolleyes1

Oh really? What time? LOL I was able to score an 8AM reservation!
8:15, I also have 12/6 at 8:10
Not sure which I will be keeping. I also have a lunch ADR, not interested in the dinner items. I had breakfast & lunch there this past August and the breakfast was our best meal of the week.
I'm trying not to overplan this trip, but its so hard to not schedule anything. I did schedule a tour (Holiday D-Lights) to take in all the holiday festivities in one night.

I hear ya! I'm trying to not over plan too much either especially since I will be going back in January with my husband but it's so hard because once I get there I just want to do everything! I'm excited for my early BOG ressie so I can get into the park early :)

Thanks for this thread as I have a BOG brkfst scheduled for 8:15 am in a few weeks & was debating whether to keep it or not. A number of posts have been so-so re the food and service so have been questioning whether it is worthwhile. Am on the DP so looks like a good value for a QS credit. I also have the Eggs Florentine preordered. I would have tried the Poached Egg Sammy but can't risk the chance of runny eggs that early in the morning. Great info to have!

I had the open-faced sandwich back in May. It was soooooo delicious! There was a bit of initial price sticker shock (then again, what isn't at Disney ), but honestly all of that food for ~$22 was well worth it. I didn't bring a baggy and instead just sat there for awhile munching on pastries and enjoying a 'slow morning'. It's probably the only decent breakfast meal I have had (apart from TS options, of course), unless the Chocolate PB&J shake and a Butterfinger cupcake at DHS count?

Ordered it both visits so far, loved it. Great photo!!

Both visits also took along a ziploc bag (well I keep them in my backpack cause you never know at any meal if you want to take something home).

That looks delicious! So what is BOG? and what park is it near?

Be Our Guest and it's inside Magic Kingdom! It's the Beast's castle from Beauty and the Beast. So beautiful inside! Breakfast and lunch are quick service (but require reservations) and dinner is table service. Can be a hard reservation to get.

I pre-ordered and had the BOG breakfast as a solo last week. Had the eggs florentine and they were good . . . maybe a bit bland . . . so if you are one of those people who carry the little bottle of tabasco, this would be a great use for it. A neighbouring table had the open-faced poached egg sandwich and it looked great. That will be my first choice next visit. The pastries were good . . . the chocolate chip one and the little bran muffin were the best of the bunch. But the best thing about the breakfast was that after I ate, I got to ride 7DMT 3x in a row! My ressie was for 8:15 am but I arrived by 7:15am and stood in line at the breakfast reservation line at the front gate until they let us in at approx 7:50 am. I was the first one through for BOG and finished by 8:20 am. One family was ahead of me for the 7DMT line and we were waived through the FP+ line for 3 rides before the rope drop guests arrived. Peter Pan was down that morning (as was POC) so the time at 7DMT was well spent. I had the free dining plan so the BOG breakfast was a great use of a CS credit.
