Hello DISers!

Does anyone have Sketchers go walk 3? This is the pair I bought today.

If so, what is your experience with them? I walked and jogged and jumped around in them (in the store! I must have been a sight!) and they felt really comfortable. Once I got home and then wore them to the grocery store, the balls of my feet and my big toe hurt. I am not sure if I just have to get used to them or if they are bad for my feet.

I have worn many pairs of sketchers and never had a problem. What do you think?

I'd say if you're having trouble with them being comfortable just with a trip to the grocery store, they don't fit you correctly. Think about walking several miles per day at a theme park! There's really no such thing as "breaking in" shoes, according to my orthopedic surgeon - either they fit you correctly and are comfortable from the get-go, or they don't/aren't.

I say, take them back to the store.

Thank you for you input! I have worn them a couple of time since I made this post and they definitely don't fit right! My keen hiking shoes are more comfortable them these. It really disappoints me bc I have never had a problem with sketchers. I love them (well, all except the new memory foam sneakers. I don't like them at all!). However can I really return them, considering I have already worn them? I did wear them to zumba and they worked out great for that, so I can use them for that. But I definitely won't wear them to Disney!

They should be comfortable right out of the box. It sounds like they don't fit you properly. It depends on where you bought them whether you can return them or not since you've already worn them out. You'll have to read the store's return policy. I always try my new shoes on around the house for a couple of days without going outside to make sure they fit. Initially I may think they're perfect, but after an hour (or the next day when I try them again) I may realize they're not correct for my feet.

I haven't tried those sneakers on but I almost ordered them. I do own the GoWalk 2 SuperSock slip-ons and when I tried them on found them much more comfortable than the GoWalk 3 version...it was something with those giant foam discs on the bottom of the shoe that made them uncomfortable to me.

I think that's it! Those foam disks feel weird! I got them at Kohl's. I am going to keep them bc they are fine to wear during zumba.

See, now that's my favorite part of the shoes, the foam pillars. I've had mine for about a year now. I started out just wearing them at the gym, to put a little extra spring in my step on the treadmill. Then, when they weren't so new anymore, I started wearing them everywhere. The foam on the bottom is so soft that it wears out quickly when you are wearing them on concrete, but even with that they are still totally worth it. Easy Spirits work well for me too, I can wear them to the parks brand new and I won't get blisters.

I used the go walk 2, not 3, in January for a week and loooooooved them. Go walks are amazing! That goga mat technology (like a yoga mat in the footbed)... Oh yeah.

I love the yoga mat footbed. It's such a nice alternative to teh memory foam. I can't stand the memory foam. When I walk it "oozes" up in between my toes and the ball of my foot. ewwwww. Can't stand that feeling! But.... they just are not comfortable for me.

I LOVE my Skechers Go Walk 3s! I tried on the 2s in the store and didn't like them as well as the 3a. I have 3 pairs of them now.

UPDATE- I have been wearing these shoes once in awhile I paid good money for them, I like the color and I want to get some use out of them! LOL! And they are actually feeling better! I wore them tonight to walk around the neighborhood for Halloween and my feet did not hurt! We were out for about 2 hours. Maybe i just needed to get used to the funky soles. I have decided to take them to Disney in addition to my keen sandals. I am hoping for the best.
