I think Alvin has been hanging on by his fellow competitors' pure bad luck for a couple of weeks now. Sorry to see any of them go now but I agree with the choice.

Totally agree with you Libby. He wasn't ever going to make it through to the final. Even though he seems a nice enough guy, his baking was just not up to scratch.

I'm so glad Nadia stayed. if only she'd used her original batch of pastry. Matt had the same lumpy butter problem and his pastries turned out brilliantly.

I'm going to miss tomorrows episode becuase I'll be on the plane (yey!!!) but I'm hoping to get a VPN set up on the ipad so I can download and watch at the pool side or something.

She had a great first 2 rounds though so I was hoping she would be safe! I hope she wins it! Whilst she has had some odd flavours, I like that she is a bit daring with her baking. The right one def went this week :goodvibes

Hello everyone! I'm back and I'm all caught up on bake off.

I can't believe its the final already. I hope Nadiya or Tamal win... I'm not Ian's biggest fan. He comes across as quite arrogant.

I love Jo Brand anyway so I find this programme very funny. I'm not sure if the final one will be the same format as the others in the series, but if you get a chance do watch it.

Who will win??? At this point I think most people agree it could be anyone.

Its crazy busy at work today so I'm hoping I'll be back in time to watch!

Oooh, not long now.

I saw the finalists on the one show last night and tried to tell which one had won. Ian looked smug - so maybe it's him. Tamal was fairly chirpy - so maybe he wins. Nadiya looked worried - maybe she was finding it hard not to tell us she had won????

Oh, well. I'll soon know.

Ahhh I'm so happy. I literally cried out with joy when Naydia was announced!

Strangely enough I was also baking while watching the bake off. So picture me holding a bowl of cake topping whisking away when Naydia was announced as the winner.
