Where are you flying in from? Im coming from SydneyWe are watching closely too. It was down the whole of our last trip due to the major refurb and we are really excited to see it after the new effects have been added. I'm hoping it's just a few days or so. We arrive 17th November and are flying back to Australia on the 3rd December. Hoping it comes back, even it's just our last day!
Hopefully that is right and they just have it on for the 18th for good measure! Hoping when the 19th shows up tomorrow it will be gone!!http://touringplans.com/disneyland-resort/closures
On here it says it's only a quick two day closure... so I am confused.
We are flying out of Sydney but we are actullay leaving on the 14th as we are going to San Francisco for a few days first. Going to the Walt Disney family museum and attending a Disney convention.Where are you flying in from? Im coming from Sydney
Guess we'll get to ride it after all! It's back folks! Only closed 16th through 18th! Yay!!!!
The entrance to the ride is before the path. The biggest issue will be the exits including the handicap area. However, they can use walls and create a narrow walkway if needed. It's still before the actual Thunder Ranch area, so it shouldn't be too big of a deal. I don't expect the coaster to be down for a big chunk of time for the Star Wars stuff. It wasn't listed as one of the attractions closing for a year plus. You have to figure that the path between BTMRR to FL will be closed at some point once the SW construction starts. It would probably make sense to delay any BTMRR refurb until a time when the rest of the area is closed anyway.
But they could still be waiting to do the refurb at a time when the path is closed. It doesn't have to be closed the whole time. The path might not be closed the entire time.
