Disney Magic Canada October 2, 2016

Another party of 2 here, DH and I. Also over the moon at being able to cruise out of our home port.

Just book this cruise. Going to bring my 9 year daughter and my wife. We are going to be driving from boston the day of the cruise and spend the morning around the city. Looking for ideas where to park for the week.

Just noticed that this cruise is no longer bookable on the DCL website. Is it possible that the ship has already sold out?

I saw that as well and wondered. If there is absolutely no availability, does the cruise not even show up?

On the Disney TA site, I see a concierge available. My guess is that it is the last cabin available.

Hmm... interesting. Yep, still not showing up on DisneyCruise.com. In fact, the "Canadian Coastline" search option is greyed-out as well.

Had a great time on our September cruise which made us want to cruise again. We heard that if you reserve while still on the ship you receive an OBC. Well, the cruise person obviously had a bad day and the most he would tell us is the cruise was completely booked. So off we went. When we arrived home I contacted our TA and she was able to get us a OV QTY the next day. I was so excited.

She is hoping that since we reserved as soon as we returned home that DCL will give us the OBC. I hope so.

We live in PA and are thinking we should get a car service to take us to the NY Port as neither of us has driven into NY before. It does seem expensive to park the car so we're think the cost of the car service will almost be the same as our own car costs. It did kinda take the wind our of the sales because it replaces the cost of air in our budget.

Happy to have found a thread fro this cruise. So, what is an FE?

Hi, The FE (FISH EXTENDER) Is a mutual gift exchange between cabins that you have to sign up for. People give either a cabin gift ( and usually something extra for the kids) or individual gifts for everyone in each cabin. That's up to you. some give elaborate items, some do hand made some are store bough. We have an adult only FE and a whole cabin FE. you cant pick who you give to, you have to give to everyone in your group. Each group has about 15 cabins in it. YOu can join more than one if you like a larger group :)

We are from Pa. also and not sure how to get to Port...thought about train but seems a bother to take all the luggage on a train..and didn't know where train would leave you off..
Have you checked out any lino services yet?

The train would not leave you near the port. and youd then prob have to take a cab.. lots of effort to get to the port with luggage. you would probably end up at Grand Central Staion E 42nd St, and the manhattan cruise terminal Pier 88 is 12th Ave not close

Was wondering if anyone had checked to see if Disney was offering any cruise/stay packages with any of the hotels in the city? We were thinking of staying a few days after the cruise to see the sites. Also - has anyone heard if Disney will be offering transfers between any of the airports and the pier?
