Question about buying tickets on Orbitz

I am looking at buying DL tickets on http://www.orbitz.com/ because I can buy a 4 days pass and get a day free. It looks to be a really good discount.

Has anyone done this? I am kind of nervous about it because I have only ever bought tickets from Disney or https://www.undercovertourist.com/ for WDW. Also - we leave on Friday so are these etickets that we redeem when we get there?

I have done it a number of times. Please make sure that you know your exact dates, because it is very hard (and sometimes impossible) to chainge dates after they are purchased.
 


We've done this a few times, no issues at all. They are vouchers that you take to the ticket booths to exchange. If you are staying at one of the onsite hotels you can exchange it at the front desk.
 
You may not be able to do the Orbitz deal this close to your trip. I've been told by them before that they need at least 10-14 days to transfer your information over to Disney. Have you put your dates in to see if they are available?

They are not e-tickets. As a previous poster said, they will email you a voucher that you take to the ticket booth to exchange for real tickets. The person's name on the order must be the one who picks up the tickets.

They are cheaper but you can get a refund if you buy Orbitz tickets through ebates. I think 3.75% currently. If so, that is $45 refunded for 4 adult tickets, or $11.25 per adult ticket at the Orbitz $300 price.
 
Make sure you put the correct dates in like another mentioned as they will not change them after. I originally was going this week and it changed to this Sunday so we won't know until we get there how big of a mess it will be getting out tickets as we went through weeks of fighting with Orbitz. Personally I am never using them again.
 
ON LMT Club, how far in advance does one have to buy a ticket? It appears I can buy one for use as soon as today.

To find the DL tickets on LMT Club look under the activities tab.
 
the park tickets only show up in the activities tab after you have joined the "club". you can't get the deal apparently if you are not a club member. I called them to make sure I could get the dates I needed, all I had to do was change my travel dates in the original search for activities box. It kept only showing up as 3 weeks out, but it was going from the day I searched, not the date I wanted the tickets to start. I bought the tickets Monday and had the e-tickets in my email the next day. Good luck, amazing deal!

We had zero issues exchanging our tickets on a different date. We ended up going two weeks earlier then planned in March and they took it no problem! :)
