EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

Hi all! We will be at F+W in just 11 days! We have pre-purchased the Sampler package. Does anyone know if all 4 of us need to be present to pick up our credentials/pins, or can just one of us go and get them for everyone?

Are they in 4 separate transactions with 4 names, or are they in one transaction for 4 people with one purchaser's name?

Just a note for sampler people- as of around one o clock today (maybe more like one thirty?), the Block and Hans booth was told they were no longer allowed to accept the tabs from the tasting sampler/premium package. Apparently they weren't supposed to at all, as they're a 'regular' stand not an official Food and Wine one. I don't know if they ever were allowing it, but the call was supposedly put to all other non-temporary spots: the Joffery's kiosks, the outpost, Refreshment whatever it is by Canada... whatever.

Sadly, this happened ten minutes before we stopped there to use a tab. Sigh.

Hops and Barley was unable to convert a counter service to three snacks, too: they understood what was wanted, but couldn't make the register work. I hope others have better luck, though that is so not a New England lobster roll. So much celery and onion!

Thanks for the update. I was surprised they originally accepted them as they weren't on the official list. Sorry for those of us who were hoping to be able to use them there in the coming weeks but I expected this to happen.

I am trying to get 4 Wine View Lounge seats or 4 reserved seating for Sat Oct 24. One of our party has broken a bone and won't be able to stand at the general admission tables we already have. If anyone has 4 of these please PM me and I will arrange payment etc. thanks so much

Good Luck!

I was able to cancel my Wine View for this weekend after telling the CM about my mother's unexpected surgery. VERY grateful to Disney for allowing that. I had one other thing booked but am just going to eat that cost as it's small.

So glad Disney came through for you. Good luck to your mom and I hope she recovers quickly.

Second, the emcee was quite interesting- in a bad and overbearing way. At 11:03 a.m., I texted my husband: "That emcee will not shut up and inserts herself into everything blocking the view. Amanda is just beginning to talk." I did think Amanda did a decent job: she was personable, funny, and self-deprecating. She was representing Mylan and as such did spend time talking about her food allergy and preventing allergic reactions. Also, she was promoting her new cookbook, so that took up some time.

.

Pretty much typical for Pam She's the reason I quit going to the food demos she won't SHUT UP! (I have gone to guest services and complained!) The presenter the week prior did a good job of just dominating her but.... your presenter has to be the one driving her!

Anyone experience the wine pairing luncheon at Tutto Gusto yet? We'll be there soon and am looking for feedback. TIA

I purchased online for all 4 of us, in one transaction. Two of them are for kids under 18.

From what I was told, if they are in one transaction and in your name you should be able to pick them all up. I purchased 5 for our group and I will be picking all of them up next Wednesday before the rest of the group gets there.

Has anyone posted reviews on Party for the Senses yet? Been looking but haven't seen any. We're going Oct 17th :)

We did PFTS Wine View this past weekend 10/3. It was great! Went to the American Gardens theater first for the VIP seating for the Starship concert. We were seated in the left middle section about in the middle of the theater. We then walked back to the Festival showplace and we checked in about 6:30. The let us in to our tables a few minutes later and our waitress Kelly met us and explained the layout. There was a private bar with two drink specials, a peach margarita and a chocolate martini. There was a dessert station where they were making a cranberry crime brûlée with liquid nitrogen. There was also a cheese table. All these were in the wine view lounge only for our use. We were able to get food from the booths for about 10 minutes before they started letting other people in. The reserved seating was all around the wine view area, so there wasn't a lot of foot traffic around us. The food was really good and the booze was plentiful. It did not seem like it was very busy, we didn't have to wait for anything. Cirque performed and we really enjoyed that. When we left they gave us goody bags with our wine glass, a box with two bakery muffins, a collection of Twining teas and some Godiva chocolates. Over all we really enjoyed it. If we ever do this again we would certainly splurge on Wine View again!
