How often do Little Mermaid rooms at AOA come available? I have a trip in less than 60 days and right now am booked at pop century, but AOA Little Mermaid rooms was were we really wanted to be. I think my girls would just like the theming better. Is the only thing to do is keep calling every day?

Sometimes rooms will open up at 45 days out. Call, check online or check sites like Orbitz.

What are your dates? We are going in under 60 days and we just booked a LM room on Friday. I looked on the Disney site yesterday and there were rooms still available!

Also, how long are you going to be there? If there isn't a room available for the entire time, maybe look into doing a split stay? It wouldn't be too hard switching resorts since they are right across the lake from each other.

I agree with PP - a spilt stay is a great option due to the proximity of the resorts. Also, if all else fails, you will still be able to experience AoA even if you aren't staying there. To be able to walk around and see the character fixtures is the best part! You are walking through their stories!

Agree with the split stay -- we are doing the extreme split in February -- going from the understated elegance of the Grand Floridian to the over the top theming of the Art of Animation -- and, honestly, we are really looking forward to our first AOA stay!

Lol! We are doing the opposite. Checking into a Little Mermaid room Wednesday, and switching to the Grand Floridian Saturday. We added the 3 nights in a "little" Mermaid room as our daughter (5yo) asked if we could stay in a "real" Disney room this time.

Another vote for split stay! We are doing 3 nights poly then 3 nights AOA LM Room. We are excited for both!
